- Denver Anderson is a 5’11 2024 Wing from Mt. Zion and Indiana Elite Havoc 2024. Denver is a long wing player that we have been tracking all summer long. She is a good 3-point shooter that can also play inside.Denver has the athletic ability to play on the wing and succeed in a full court game. As she continues to improve her game off the bounce Denver has a chance to become a high level player.
- Jilyan Burgener is 5’8 2024 Wing from Central A&M and Indiana Elite Havoc 2024. Jilyan is a left handed scorer that can find many different ways to get her points. She makes good decisions off the ball screen by using the screen and rejecting the screen to create driving angles. Once she gets past the screen Jilyan does a god job of surveying what is available to her and picking the right option. As Jilyan continues to develop a well rounded game at both ends of the floor she will be a player for college coaches to watch.
- Campbell Conner is a 5’8 2024 Wing from Prospect High and Illinois Elite Gold.Campbell is a nice guard/wing with an excellent shot. In the game I watched she hit some big 3-pointers and showed a nice smooth stroke that is repeatable. She has the athletic ability to attack off the bounce and excel in the up tempo game that the Illinois Elite Gold team likes to play. Campbell is a scorer that should be tracked.
- Marisa Gant is 5’8 2024 Wing from Springfield and Illinois Elite Gold. Marisa is a slasher and grinder that brings plenty of talent to the table. I enjoy seeing her in constant motion, attacking the glass and running the floor. She can finish in the lane, score off the offensive rebound and has a nice mid range jumper. I have not doubt that she will be a very good high school player that will definitely have college options.
- Addie Shrader is a 5’9 2024 Wing from Charleston and Indiana Elite 2024. Addie is a long and athletic wing that can really be exciting on the floor with her ability to run and use her length. She showed a nice 3-point shot over the weekend that if it is consistent will be a huge weapon for her. Because of her height she shows the ability to play in the lane against smaller guards but can take advantage of slower defenders on the perimeter. As Addie plays more games against top competition and continues to develop she has a chance to be a very good prospect.
- Katey Flynn is a 5’10 2023 Guard from Brown County and the Inferno Elite 16u. Katey is a well rounded combo guard that uses her body well to take advantage of her length. She can get to the rim where she will finish with either hand through contact. On the defensive end of the floor her length causes issues and allows her to guard anyone from the point guard to the power forward. As she continues to develop a consistent jumper Katey will increase her upside. Definitely one to watch along with her sister….
- Klare Flynn is a 5’9 2023 Wing from Brown County and the Inferno Elite 16u. Klare is a special talent that is primed to break out. She is still in the process of working back from an ACL tear and is getting better every time out. Klare is an above average shooter that is working on her game off the bounce to add that dimension to her arsenal. On the defensive end of the floor she does a good job and is often assigned one of the top players from the other team. She is another one to watch as she continues to work back to full strength.
As we get close to the end of our summer season it has been fun to get the chance to watch some of the young talent. I look forward to seeing how they progress during the school season.
