Kendall Dominguez-5’8 guard (Somerset HS) Texas Hoops
Dominguez can score, she shoots the mid to long-range effortlessly and consistently and watching her create her shot, under pressure was something to see. She handles the ball well, under pressure and she has a nice crossover that helps her split defenders or just get to the rim where she finishes strong
Adryan Alvarez-5’6 guard (Del Valle HS) El Paso Hustle
Alvarez has that “I won’t be denied” mindset on the court and watching her battle for loose balls and rebounds against taller players show that yet she has range, I’m talking about shooting it from close to NBA range and when you throw in she was one of the best “catch and shoot” performers at the combine …
Juliana Tapia-5’5 guard (Sandra Day O’Connor HS) San Antonio Hustlers/ San Antonio Hoops Elite
Tapia creates her shot so well under pressure that she keeps defenders off balance because not only can she hit the quick jumper, the pull-up is nice, she also can take defenders to the basket and finish after contact but that jumper from mid to long-range was clicking and dropping
Madie Soto-5’10 forward (Antonian College Preparatory HS) Texas Hoops
Soto uses her athleticism nicely, on both ends of the court as well as her size as she rebounds well on both ends of the court. She understands how to create her shot, she doesn’t force it and she can knock down the long ball as well as finish on the inside but watching her “follow her shot” over and over made me smile
Audry Hornaday-5’7 guard (Sharyland Pioneer HS) Valley Rebels Elite
Hornaday showed that her pull-up jumper was something that would be reckoned with during the skills and drills and when the games began, it definitely was but not only does she create her shot, she sees the floor well and makes good passes under pressure but watching her play the passing lane was a definite yes
Daelah Edwards-5’6 guard (San Antonio Veterans Memorial) Hustlers
Edwards did a good job at seeing the floor, she also can handle the ball and whatever pressure is sent at her but she uses her athletic ability to just maneuver well in tight situations, she attacks the basket and finishes strongly, with either hand and she can drop the three
Abigail Lebherz-6’1 post (Antonian College Preparatory HS) Texas Hoops
Lebherz frame alone will have colleges recruiting her but her skill set will determine how many and what level so I was somewhat speechless at watching the hands and footwork combined with her frame, as well as her rebounding but she plays smart and passes well for a post. She shot the midrange, she shot the long-range, she attacked from the wing and she hit the stop and pop as I dropped the mic and walked away
