2024
Bert Shamar-5’7 PG/SG ( BTR UAA) Putnam City West HS
Shamar continues to show me she’s more than just a deadly three point shooter. Her basketball court sense and ability to distribute under pressure combined with her ballhandling and upside keeps her in the mix of up and coming talented guards. Did I mention she applies heat on the defensive end, well she does
Taliyah Parker-6’1 SG/SF( BTR UAA) Putnam City West HS
Parker is long and athletic, one more time that’s the base yet every time I see her she drops something new on me and this time it was her handling the ball in the open court going full speed as I attempted to anticipate what was coming because her gliding and finishing as well as pulling up for the jumper was nice as well as her playing the passing lane
Caya Smith Caya Smith 6'2" | SF Putnam City West | 2024 State OK -6’1SF/PF (BTR UAA) Putnam City West HS
Smith has always been one to just find ways to make her presence felt on either end and the presents she’s blessed with are truly being used like her reactions and instinctiveness as she not only defends in or out the paint and play the passing lane, she elevates for rebounds and can ignite the break on one end while finishing on another
Hannah Coons Hannah Coons 6'2" | PF Kiefer | 2024 State OK -6’1 PF/C (Shock 2022-Gold) Kiefer HS
Coons has size, agility and every event I see this young lady play in she does some of the same things over and over and one of them is show that pull-up mid to long range over and over and over and guess what, I love bigs that can shoot it but more importantly so do college coaches so her being on many short lists will not be a surprise as she also can take defenders off the dribble but if Texas is called, the play, watch out
2025
Keziah Lofton-5’11 PG (Lady Jets Randle) Yukon
Lofton has BCS offers on the table and she’s one of the top players in her class, how do I know, because I know where the bar has been set and she’s doing something my own daughter did, playing against 17U going into the 8th grade but alas, I called her #BCSLock what 2 years ago, maybe 3 but who’s counting, the main thing is that I was right and watching her elevate over defenders going to the basket, watching her elevate over taller players for rebounds, watching her battle against older players just keeps me smiling from ear to ear because I told you what was coming and the finished product is nowhere near, now that’s scary
Sania Richards-5’4 PG (BTR UAA)
Richards is playing up on a team that’s playing up and without a roster you would never know so that in itself speaks volumes yet it the sound turns up even more as she creates her shot while being pressured and can either hit the pull-up jumper or attack the basket but her basketball IQ is quite high and she uses it nicely to make things happen
Janiah Williams-5’8 PG/SG (BTR Black)
Williams handles the ball under pressure and she sees the floor well but watching her attack and distribute was certainly an eye opener as she made passes that sometimes didn’t appear to be there for assists. To top that off, she has a deceptive first step that enables her to get to the rim and once there, she finishes strong
Keeley Parks-5’8 PG/SG (Trae Young Elite Platinum)
Parks is strictly business and after watching her as a 3rd grader, this is what I said. Since I’m giving you perfect examples with documentation, when I say something, just listen because those big things I said were down the road are headed for the highway as she can handle the ball with ease under pressure, her poise is unmatched nor is her desire to make those around her better but she can shoot it from mid to long, take defenders and finish with either hand or throw passes on the money from halfcourt
2026
Kylah Prestridge (BTR Pink)
Prestidge caught my at PassThaBall Super 60 and the next time I saw her she was tagged #D1Lock so in keeping it real, her improvement continues to jump out at me every chance I see her because she plays within herself yet can change the momentum and take over a game with the blink of an eye and this age, that’s HUGE so with her poise and understanding of the game….
