Below is a list of players that have proven to be three level scorers. This means that the prospect is able to bring points to the board with her ability to get to the lane, create mid range and knock down from beyond the perimeter.
Caden Krohn Caden Krohn 6'0" | PF Waukesha West | 2023 State WI | WI Shooters | 6’0 W
Krohn’s stock rose so much this summer as she became one of the most consistent perimeter scorers on the circuit. Her range is tremendous and her ability to quickly release over a defender is elite. She is silky smooth with the ball and can take her defender off the dribble as well. She is poised and composed when attacking the basket, I continue to be impressed by the way she maintains her tempo when being tightly guarded. Her handles are great for a player her size. She does well creating contact under the basket as well and can definitely be a strong rebounder for her team. She continues to bring in mid-range game and since she is already such a strong shooter- adding a nice jumper seems to come easy for Krohn.
KK Arnold KK Arnold 5'10" | PG Germantown | 2023 State #8 Nation WI | Midwest Elite | 5’8 G
The number one player in her class, Arnold really does it all on the floor. An energetic point guard with spark-plug potential. She is an effective ball handler and facilitator for her team as well. Running the offense comes easy to Arnold, especially when she has other elite teammates to work off of. Her ability to drive against contact and finish strong at the lane is elite. Her handles are very advanced for her age. She has an innate ability to avoid defenders in the air, and it is very impressive to watch. It is this same athleticism that will allow her to rebound her position well and start the fast break herself if she comes down with the ball. She is fantastic on the fast break; she runs the floor and creates her own opportunities. Her mid-range pull up improved tremendously this summer and she’s added consistency to that along with her knock down three pointers.
Taylor Jacobson | Let It Rain | 5’9 G
Jacobson is a dynamic combo guard with great upside. She is super aggressive on offense and plays with tremendously high energy. She is extremely athletic with great defensive ability as well. She does well attacking the paint and not shying away from contact. She has great positional size and does well balancing her body at the rim. Jacobson is extremely shifty on offense and does well making the defenders turn her or work extra hard when she has the ball. She has a smooth release to her perimeter shot and will continue to add consistency and range. Jacobson has one of the more impressive mid-range jumpers shown this season and she does well creating space and knocking it down.
Alicia Burgos Alicia Burgos 6'2" | PF Dominican | 2023 State WI | Bridgewater Elite | 5’10 G
The Bridgewater Elite standout is a smooth, versatile guard that is a phenomenal scorer. She can play inside and out- oftentimes playing the post with her team’s smaller line up. She makes the right pass in the fast break and does not force any opportunities. She knows how to attack the rim and does a great job handling the ball with her eyes on the basket. She is great at reacting to the defense and then making the right finishing move. She plays with poise in the lane shown by her repertoire of counter moves, such as the euro-step, pull up and contact- creation. Burgos Schroeder’s composure and patience down low allow her to see success from scoring on the block. She follows her shot consistently and gets many offensive rebounds as well.
Hope Barington Hope Barington 5'10" | SF Green Bay Notre Dame | 2023 State WI | WI Purple Aces | 5’9 G
Barington is another elite scoring threat due to her consistent shooting ability and force when attacking against a defender. She’s great from behind the arc, especially when she gets to step into her shot. Her patience with the ball also stands out- Barington knows exactly when to rise into her shot. She reads on-ball defenders well; she sees when they take their eye off of him and then she simply shoots the ball because of the lapse by the defender. She can finish so well through contact and doesn’t mind bumping bodies on both sides of the court. Her size for a guard is solid and will definitely translate well at the next level. Barington stands out for the dynamic moves she has from everywhere on the court and her ability to finish strong with both hands at the rim.
