Standouts:
Allie Ziebell Allie Ziebell 5'11" | SG Neenah | 2024 State WI | 6’0 W | 2024
Ziebell really shined this entire summer playing with WI Flight Elite. Her skillset is so mature at such a young age and she brings so much versatility to the floor. She is incredibly gifted physically and mentally on the floor. She has loads of potential due to her mobility, size and agility. She is a three level scorer and gets the job done on multiple spots on the floor. Her length at 6’0 helped boost her versatility as well. Ziebell holds offers from UW Green Bay, Minnesota and Illinois State.
Macy Donarski Macy Donarski 5'7" | PG Aquinas | 2023 State WI | 5’7 PG | 2023
Donarski can flat out handle the ball; she has so many elite combo moves in her repertoire. She dribbles quickly and with power- the ball is rarely stagnant in her hands. She is fantastic at dribbling through the defense and maintaining her dribble when pressured. She does not get flustered with tight defense, and this is a testament to how comfortable she is with the ball. She has great court vision and can see plays happen before they even occur. She has developed into a great passer and energizes the crowd with her ability to see the floor. She holds offers from Drake, St. Thomas, South Dakota State and Saint Louis.
Kayl Peterson | 6’0 W | 2024
Peterson is a highly athletic wing/power forward combo that plays with great energy. She has an impressive vertical leap and a strong frame. She can definitely become a strong shot blocker and rebounder with her strength under the basket. She is a great driver towards the middle of the lane and her slashing ability is arguably her best trait. Her athleticism takes over in the lane where she bullies defenders, fights through contact and draws fouls. Peterson has phenomenal defensive versatility because of her combination of length and athleticism. She is able to defend on the perimeter consistently while still being able to hold her own in the post. A sniper from beyond the arc, Peterson does so much for this Flight Elite squad. The 6’0 W currently holds an offer from UW Green Bay.
Marie Outlay | 5’9 SG | 2023
Outlay is a fun guard to watch as she brings so much to this squad. A shooting guard on the roster- Outlay does a very impressive job attacking the basket as well as getting her teammates involved. Her court vision is solid and she is definitely a two-way pass first type player. Many times finding the open man- don’t misunderstand that Outlay will knock it down from deep when she’s open. Very high pressure defense is the only way to sway Outlays decision to take an outside shot. She’s confident and consistent- something so essential on a team like this.
