Medley Schnierle 5’6 Bloomington Central Catholic High School / Illinois Warriors Royal: A lefty that can hit the 3 ball and score from all 3 levels. Medley brings good athleticism to the court. She will drive into contact and isn’t afraid to get hit and go to the line. She plays very poised and under control.
Nina Nytko 5’5 Willowbrook High School / Illinois Rockets: A scrappy, strong basketball IQ player, Nina is a true point guard. She has calm handles that allow her to not be affected by full court pressure. She has a nice shot that can knock down the 3. What I really liked from Nina was that when she was pushing the tempo and running the break, her eyes were always up looking ahead to make something happen.
Kamryn Abney 5’6 Hononegah High School / Illinois Midwest Wildcats: A hard working guard that understands the game well, Kamryn is a solid player. She cuts to the hoop and to get open hard and with a purpose. She moves very well without the ball and keeps her defenders on their toes.
Ella Grundstrom 5’11 Byron High School / Illinois Midwest Wildcats: A good athlete with good size and length, Ella brings good vision to the court. With her build, Ella has the potential to play the 2-4 at the next level. She has a stoic demeanor on the court and never seemed to get rattled. A lefty, Ella can score from anywhere and does a very good job attacking the rim.
Durbin Thomas 5’3 Mahomet-Seymour High School / Heart of Illinois: Durbin has strong handles. She has a low, quick crossover that can get by anyone. She has quick feet and does a job on defense keeping the opposition in front of her. She has all the skills and abilities to be able to lead her team from the point position.
