McKenna Christiansen 5’6 Hall High School / Illinois Valley Warriors Royal: An athletic combo guard that can hit the 3, McKenna is fearless. She isn’t afraid to pull from deep and if she has space, it is going up and going in.
Isabella Morey 5’5 Providence Catholic High School / Illinois Rockets: Isabella is a welcome addition to any team she is on as she can help you in a variety of ways. She has the ability to known down the 3 and does a good job reading the defense to get herself open. She communicates on defense, which really stood out, and has the athleticism to be a lock down defender. She has quick hands that pester whomever she is guarding. Isabella is a leader and has the tools to be a player that will fill up the box score throughout her high school career.
Jordan Johnston 5’9 Hononegah High School / Illinois Midwest Wildcats: Jordan plays up on a 16u team and really shined. She has great height for a combo guard. Jordan, at times, ran the point for the Wildcats and when she got the ball on a rebound or an outlet pass, she looked to push the tempo. She runs the break with her eyes up and will find her teammates. Jordan did a good job boxing out and holds her own going against bigger and older girls.
Sophia McCartney 6’2 Routt Catholic High School / Illinois Inferno: Another 2024 playing up on a 16u team, I liked what I saw from Sophia. She wins the foot fight down low to get herself in position for the ball. She has a nice drop step and very good touch around the rim. She does a good job on defense and moves her feet well to keep her opponents in check.
Brooke Spoonmoore 5’7 Hall High School / Illinois Valley Warriors Royal: Brooke is a scrappy player. She will go after the 50/50 balls and has active enough hands on defense to cause problems for the opposition. A good athlete that projects as a wing as she gets older, Brooke has a nice jump shot that can fall inside 20 feet.
Trinity Jones 5’6 Madison Jr High / Illinois Rockets: A super aggressive athlete, Trinity is a 2025 that has a bright future. She can get north to south on the court incredibly fast due in part to a great push dribble. When she gets the ball on the perimeter Trinity wants to attack and uses her quickness to get to the rim.
