Cora Desutter 5’8 Midwest Central High School / Heart of Illinois: Cora brings a good skill set to the basketball court. She has good size and is athletic enough to defend out on the perimeter. She does a good job of moving on defense and putting herself in position to block or alter any shot in her area. She controls the glass and does a good job finishing around the rim.
Elizabeth Daly 5’11 Peoria Notre Dame High School / Heart of Illinois: Elizabeth is a long athlete that makes her presence known on defense. She contests everything in her path and makes the offense think twice before entering the lane. Offensively, she really impressed getting open at the high post with hands ready to shoot. She has a good feel on that end of the floor at putting herself in the right spot to be successful.
Teegan Roach 5’11 York High School / Illinois Rockets: I really liked Teegan’s game. She is a post that can run the floor and keep up with the guards. She flashes hard to the ball and has hands and feet ready to attack. She has a solid jumper that can bury a 15 footer consistently. Two of most impressive skills that Teegan has at this young age are her screens and her rebounding. She sets hard screens that creates space for her teammates and every rebound she gets she keeps high, ready to throw an outlet. She is good, fundamentally sound player.
Jocelyn Cottone-Sulli 5’7 Normal Community High School / Heart of Illinois: Jocelyn brings good length to the floor. I see her as a wing / point forward and with her ability to run the floor, she could really excel at that spot. When the ball is in her hands she does a good job attacking and keeping her eyes up looking for the open teammate.
Katie Sosa 6’0 York High School / Illinois Rockets: Katie has every tool you want in a basketball player. She is long athlete that can run the floor and has good handles that don’t allow her to get rattled with pressure. She can attack from the perimeter and post up down low. She isn’t afraid to shoot the 3 which opens her up to get to the rim. As she continues to grow as a player and become more assertive on the basketball court, there is no telling where her skills could take her.
