Zeinstra was a lights out shooter with a staggering shooting percentage almost every weekend. She also showed that she can score from multiple levels and organize the troops on both ends.

Kimball is a smart player that keeps mental mistakes to a minimum.
Lexus Bargesser Lexus Bargesser 5'8" | PG Grass Lake | 2022 State MI – Received 31.9% of the vote
Bargesser absolutely went off this summer, and college coaches took notice. It seemed like a D1 offer was coming in by the hour. Quite frankly, she is skyrocketing up the recruiting charts. Bargesser was almost unguardable with her pull up jumper that she could hit from anywhere. She was fast with the dribble and had no hesitation on her passes.
THE GRASSROOTS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Lauren Sollom Lauren Sollom PF Hartland | 2022 State MI – Received 33.1% of the vote
Sollom is very deserving of this honor. She rounds out the first ever team of sisters claiming the award as she follows in the footsteps of the University of Michigan’s Whitney Sollom Whitney Sollom 6'4" | PF Hartland | 2020 State MI . She flaunted her versatility all summer long. Sollom could play inside-out or outside-in and was a threat to score from the rim to beyond the arc.
