Kate Huml – Janesville Craig – Let It Rain – 5’7 G
Huml is a facilitating guard that does everything a team needs in a lead guard. She is a fantastic passer with great vision in the half-court. Her court vision and spatial awareness on the court are next level; she finds her teammates so well. She can take over a game offensively and is consistent in her mid-range game. She is an adequate finisher through contact, and she shows ability to use contact and draw fouls. She operates well on the pick-and roll, and she knows when to reject the screen and dart towards the hoop.
McKenna Ciesielczyk- De Pere – WI Legends – 5’8 G
Ciesielczyk is an elite off-ball guard that is also a great shooter. She is fantastic in the catch-and-shoot scenarios, especially when running off screens or receiving the ball of handoffs. She only needs a silver amount of daylight to get her jumper off- she can heat up at any moment as well. Her body and motor give her the ability to be a great two way player- she plays with a lot of energy on both sides of the ball. She runs the fast break well, and she knows how to fill the lanes well- she has a great IQ for the game. She plays with active hands defensively, and she is disruptive by reaching in when off the ball. Her entire skill set is rapidly improving.
Emilie Wizner – Germantown – Chapman Basketball Academy – 5’7 G
Wizner has become a do-it-all point guard with great build and speed for her position. She possesses impressive athleticism which allows her to make adjustments when attacking against taller defenders. She is a high energy guard that will bring loads of high tempo to the floor; she has the potential to be a legitimate spark plug at the next level. She excels in a fast system that gets out and runs the break. Her handles are next level as well as her ability to dish to the open man. She’s added range to her shot and ability to knock down from anywhere off the pass and within transition.
Reanna Hutchinson – Eau Claire North- WI City Hoops – 5’10 SG
Hutchinson brings a great level of athleticism to her game. It grants her the ability to use her size to sky for rebounds and snatch the ball out of the air from taller opponents. Hutchinson finishes in transition very well; fast break scoring is one of her best attributes. She springs and fills the open lanes exceptionally well. She has a tremendous understanding of space in a fast system. She has an elite shot selection and moves well without the ball. Throughout the season, she showed an ability to knock big shows down when she could step into her shot. Specifically, she seems to like the corner and wing areas from thehind the arc. She is becoming a good perimeter defender as well because of her lateral quickness.
Ava Loftus- Stoughton – WI Flight Elite – 5’7 PG
Loftus is an extremely athletic player with an unbelievable feel for the game. Her speed and footwork give her a great advantage over opponents because she can fly by defenders and push in the break. If she gets a head of stem downhill, she will most likely attempt to finish with a nice floater inside- or dish the open post player. She plays with long strides, therefore she can get down the court quickly and ahead of defense. She has really improved her facilitating skills and on-court vision. She finds her teammates open within the offense and is patient while they use screens and cut. She has a crafty bounce pass in transition as well that is exciting to watch and catches defenders off guard.
Emma Lebeck- Hortonville – WI Flight Elite – 5’11 F
Lebeck is a physically-advanced prospect with a high ceiling. She is and has been taller than most of her competition at the guard size before adding forward to her positional resume. She can offensively, play any position and remain elite. She knows how to use her body to overpower taller defenders in the lane, and she is very comfortable playing physically. Her versatility is through the root, and the way she uses her body makes her a threat from the attack or with her back to the basket. Her shooting touch is smooth and composed as well.
