Miraya Perkins Miraya Perkins 5'9" | PF Hazen | 2023 State TX -5’9 PF (Hazen HS) Cy Fair Elite Bush 15U
Perkins name is synonymous with basketball and she shows it in a number of ways but she has the ability to play 3 positions at the next level, she’s strong enough to play power forward, she’s agile enough to play small forward and she can shoot it well enough to play a shooting guard it will just depend on the system yet my system of knowing what I’m looking at enjoyed her creating off the dribble to attack or hit the jumper yet even more impressive was her outrebounding those over “the magic number” and her defense, in or outside of the paint was very good
Aubrey Reid Aubrey Reid 5'10" | PF Austin | 2023 State TX -5’10 PF (Austin HS) Cy Fair Elite Bush 15U
Reid just gets things done quietly and efficiently with no flash, just sold basketball because has a college-ready body now, so that should tell you how strong she is and she understands how to create her shot which is a deadly pull-up jumper from midrange that she mixes nicely with taking defenders off the dribble but her athleticism on defense just wowed me, not to mention battling for loose balls and I refuse to leave out how impressed I was with her rebounding on both ends
Tobi Ademuwagun Tobi Ademuwagun 5'11" | PF The Village School | 2023 State TX -5’10 PF (Tompkins HS) Team Spaz
Ademuwagun’s name was misspelled by me yet I got her game right so the spelling DOOVER won’t earn a THe Wirfe like response yet she left me somewhat speechless at the PassThaBall #Select40 camp because I had not seen her, or didn’t have a roster but when you’re long and athletic and play with power and passion, I generally get up and ask but she’s active around the court, constantly moving, does a good job playing the passing lane but she finishes so strongly after attacking the same way yet those blocked shots kept my adrenaline up
Alysia McDaniel Alysia McDaniel 6'0" | PF Parish Episcopal | 2023 State TX -6’0 PF (Parish Episcopal HS) Lady Drive Nation 16U
McDaniel made her presence felt in numerous ways however seeing her in The Prime Event going against the type of NEXT LEVEL competition she was going against got her here. I knew she could rebound on both ends and defend yet she showed rebounding with authority and outbattling opponents for the ball but seeing her run the floor, on both ends as well showing she could finish strongly after contact, good footwork around the basket to score as well as facing the basket rolled into her “the magic number” package of 6’0
