The forward position looks completely different today from what it was even a few years ago.  Forwards still stand out for a great mix of size and athleticism, but now they’re expected to play both inside and out at a high level.  As such, they generally have unique skillsets, and for players this young, a scary amount of potential.

Timberlynn YeastTimberlynnYeast5'8" | SFMercer County | 2023StateKY, Mercer County- A prototypical modern forward, Yeast has the athleticism and outside scoring ability in bunches, but has also shown that she is not afraid to mix it up on the inside.  She is the complete package, especially when it comes to her offensive ability.  When watching her score, it’s easy to see why she’s one of the top prospects in the state.

Destiny ThomasDestinyThomas5'10" | SFMcCracken County | 2023StateKY, McCracken County- Much like Yeast, Thomas also has all the skills expected out of a new age forward.  She may not overwhelm with her size, but has plenty of strength to battle inside.  Still, it is her athleticism and perimeter skills that separate her from the pack and make her a top forward prospect.
