Aliyah Carter Aliyah Carter 5'7" | SG Hendrickson | 2023 State TX -5’7 (Cedar Park HS) Cy Fair Elite 15U Bush
Carter impressed me instantaneously, not only because of her speed but her speed with the ball, and when you add “being under control” while blazing baseline to baseline, I’m thinking what’s next. She very well could play the combo at the next level because she sees the floor so well and making passes while pushing the ball is her norm yet in the half-court, that first step is something as she creates her shot for the mid to long-range nicely and can get it off with ease but she also attacks and finishes strong and back to the combo, yes she can control the tempo and run the offense in the half-court
Abigail Tomaski Abigail Tomaski 6'0" | SG Memorial | 2023 State TX -6’0 (Memorial HS) Just Play Elite
Tomaski’s club name fits her because she just plays and continues to show ME how elite she is going to be because always remember one thing, I love big guards who can flat out shoot it but even more importantly, college coaches love the same thing and they’re offering scholarships. Tomaski offered a glimpse of the future as she elevated her game even more after I omitted her initially, that’s on me because I have been impressed with her since day 1 but she’s taking defenders with ease off the dribble, that picked up, and her pull-up is just hard to handle, that’s mid to long-range and watching her elevate, with her wingspan, and just get her shot off is a thing of beauty
Ashley Sidman Ashley Sidman 5'9" | SG Keller | 2023 State TX -5’9 (Keller HS) Higher Goals 2023
Sidman and her crew caught my eye at The Blueprint, open it at either Heart Of Texas or Super 64 but the performance at The Prime Event had both wide opened as she’s one of the very talented players on an up and coming talented squad so I have her listed as “heady” which means she THINKS the game and that often forgotten intangible is one of those #THROBACKS that will get you more offers. You know what else gets more offers, shooting the midrange which she creates her shot and knocks down with regularity so I can’t make this stuff up because she attacks the basket and plays solid defense
Senaida Barrientos Senaida Barrientos 5'7" | SG Smithsville | 2023 State TX -5’7 (Smithsville HS) CTX
Barrientos was one of the show stoppers at the Alamo City Girls Combine and the show didn’t stop when she went off at the #AllEyezOnMe Individual Showcase and had she not put herself in front of where I’d be, like the hundreds of players listening to the wrong people, I would have missed her but she listened to the right person, her club coach, Ashley Roberts, starred at Duncanville and Texas and gave me the heads up to make sure I had my head up so when I saw Barrientos getting taped, agonizing in pain as I set the melodrama up, I walked over and saw this grimacing look on her face and as I asked “can you go” she said “oh I’m going” and that she did, as in OFF because she created her shot nicely, elevated on the jumper, mid to long-range and even showed the stop and pop in transition but her savviness on both ends just add fuel to her fire
