Quadaija Langley Quadaija Langley 5'6" | CG Blue Ridge | 2022 State SC was a speedy guard pushing the ball up the court and moving from end to end with ease with the ball. She did a good job leading her team and controlling the tempo of the game. Langley had some nice dishes to her teammates even making difficult passes while moving quickly on a fast break, and she was patient when making entry passes into her post players. She was a terror on defense causing problems for Lady Attack Elite to get a play going. She would jump into passing lanes and stay in front of her opponent, so they could not get by her.
Riley Stack Riley Stack 6'5" | SF Wren | 2023 State SC is a tall player who certainly knows how to use her length. She is aggressive when grabbing rebounds, and she does well fighting against other post players on defense. She uses her length to cause deflections and steals. She is aggressive with the ball on offense making strong moves in order to score.
Keonna Curtis showed her strength when moving from block to block posting up and creating space for herself. She followed each shot as well grabbing rebounds and turning those into points for herself when on offense and pushed the ball up the court when she was grabbing a defensive board. She has a shot from behind the arc as well that she had on display.
Anala Nelson Anala Nelson 5'8" | CG Lower Richland | 2022 State SC is a great shooter contributing multiple three pointers for her team. She isn’t afraid to run inside to grab a rebound either. On defense, she causes problems for opponents with her quick feet jumping into passing lanes.
Tyra Myers Tyra Myers 5'6" | PG Hammond | 2022 State SC showed an ability to make amazing passes into her teammates that seemed impossible but somehow found their way to the right person. She was making these passes on fast breaks and into the post from the top of the key. She has a great vision of the court and is constantly looking up for ways to get her teammates involved.
McCall King McCall King 5'11" | SG Christ Church | 2022 State SC is someone who seems to be able to play all over the court. She can shoot from long, and she isn’t scared to post up against tough opponents to make some shots inside. She hit some important free throws down the stretch increasing the lead for the 76ers, and she showed off her shot from behind the arc.
Lady Attack Elite wouldn’t go away, though, behind three pointers from Tatum Bowen and Reagan Iovino. Bowen knocked down back to back three pointers keeping them in the game. She is a dynamic player who can play all over the court from posting up and guarding taller forwards to playing outside with her shot. Her IQ continues to impress as she knows exactly where to move into the gaps of the defense.
Iovino continues to shine with her ability to control the ball and remain calm under pressure. Every time she shoots, you can believe it will go in. She is a terror on defense, too, making it difficult for players to go by her. She jumps into passing lanes as well showing a good vision of the court on both offense and defense.
Abriel Thrash continues to show that she can do a little bit of everything. She has an outside shot that she can use, or she can move to the block to post up for an entry pass. She follows the shot and is aggressive when grabbing rebounds. She isn’t scared to drive down the middle of the lane against contact, and she is smart with her passes if she needs to dish it out to a teammate. She constantly jumps into passing lanes and was very effective with the press Lady Attack Elite implemented late in the game trying to get a stop.
Monique Cepeda is fun to watch but have fun trying to keep up with her. As an athlete, she is constantly moving all over the court finding the openings in the opposing team’s defenses. She has a great shot from behind the arc, and she knows how to be effective inside creating space between her and her opponent.
Sydnie Demiter is making her name known with her shooting abilities and tough defense. She is a great ball handler pushing the ball up the court and does well moving into open passing lanes when she does not have the ball.
