- Taris Thornton Taris Thornton 6'0" | SF Willowbrook | 2021 State IL , 6’0” Forward, Willowbrook
Rising five spots in the recent Rankings update, Thornton is a strong and athletic player who can play in the post or out on the perimeter with her skillset. The Eastern Illinois commit has good quickness and speed with the ball, making it difficult for opposing guards to stay in front of her. Taris uses her length to finish well around the rim on offense and is able to defend both Guards and Post Players with confidence.
- Molly Sheehan Molly Sheehan 5'8" | PG Benet Academy | 2021 State IL , 5’8” Guard, Benet Academy
Jumping up 15 spots in the Rankings, Sheehan had a great Summer showing that she can play Point Guard at a high level. The Valpo commit has a great understanding of the game and a pass-first mentality, which she executes in a number of creative ways. Additionally, Molly shoots the three at a high rate and consistently plays solid on-ball defense against opposing PG’s.
- Gabi Melby Gabi Melby 5'6" | CG Naperville Central | 2021 State IL , 5’6” Guard, Naperville Central
Melby had a terrific AAU season with Midwest Elite, rising 42 spots in the Rankings after showing she can play with top tier competition. She is a high-level shooter from three and can play any of the Guard positions on offense with her ability to lead and handle the ball. Three-point Shooting may be her forte, but Gabi isn’t afraid to make plays in the lane to keep defenders on their toes.
- Amellia Bromenschenkel Amellia Bromenschenkel 5'9" | CG Mendota | 2021 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Mendota
Moving up 28 spots in the Rankings, Bromenschenkel is a pure scorer from all levels with a great looking jump shot. The Purdue-Fort Wayne commit is a skilled ball-handler with great decision-making abilities in the open floor. Amellia has great athleticism that she uses to find openings at the hoop, as well as defend both Wings and Post players on the defensive end.
- Haley Stoklosa Haley Stoklosa 5'10" | PF Lincoln Way Central | 2021 State IL , 5’11” Forward, Lincoln-Way Central
Jumping up 52 spots in the Rankings update after a stellar Summer of basketball, Stoklosa is one of the premier stretch-Forwards in the state. The Bellarmine commit is smooth in the pick & roll game and knows how to create openings for herself on the block. Haley is one of the best shot-blockers in the area and has the athleticism to step outside and defend players on the wing.
- Lindsey Hahn Lindsey Hahn 5'7" | CG Lyons | 2021 State IL , 5’7” Guard, Lyons Township
Hahn has been an intriguing prospect for a couple of years, and that only continued this summer with her Ranking rising 14 spots. The Winona State commit is a high-level shooter from deep, from both off the bounce and from spotting up. Lindsey has as much range and accuracy as anyone around, and continues to show talented passing skills and overall playmaking abilities on both ends of the floor.
- Talia Pellegrini Talia Pellegrini 5'7" | CG St. Charles North | 2021 State IL , 5’7” Guard, St. Charles North
Also moving up 14 spots in the Rankings, Pellegrini played consistently well this summer with her IL Rockets team. She plays the Combo Guard role well with her ball-handling and passing skills but can also slide over and play the Wing due to her ability to shoot and score the ball. Talia is a great competitor and uses her well-rounded set of skills to make an impact on both offense and defense.
- Stephanie Dasbach Stephanie Dasbach 6'1" | PF Willowbrook | 2021 State IL , 6’1” Forward, Willowbrook
Jumping from 71 to 54 in the recent Rankings update, Dasbach had a nice Summer making plays in the post for the IL Rockets. The Winona State commit is strong with the ball and uses a variety of polished post moves to create openings on the block. Stephanie is a high-motor player who crashes the boards hard on both ends and fights for every rebound.
- Isabella Tierney Isabella Tierney 5'8" | CG Conant | 2021 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Conant
Perhaps a little under-rated at the time of the last Rankings update, Tierney showed a consistent all-around game this summer, rising 17 spots in the new Rankings. She is a lengthy Guard who plays the Point well but does well off-ball with her scoring capability from the wing. Isabella has a nice jumper and really thrives in the lane with her athleticism and ability to finish over defenders.
- Emma Raupp Emma Raupp 5'4" | CG Schaumburg | 2021 State IL , 5’7” Guard, Schaumburg
Moving up 18 spots in the Rankings, Raupp is a Combo Guard with a controlled and refined game on both ends. She is a sound ball-handler with solid decision making abilities and is a natural at finding openings for herself. Emma shoots the ball well from deep and the mid-range and is a fierce on-ball defender who loves pressuring opposing Guards.
