1. Greta Kampschroeder Greta Kampschroeder 6'0" | SG Naperville North | 2021 State #10 Nation IL , 6’0” Guard, Naperville North
The pick for the #1 Ranking in the Class of 2021 came down to two players and, after a bit of a discussion, we felt that Kampschroeder did more than enough this Summer with Midwest Elite to retain the top spot. Greta is a versatile Guard who can play inside or out on the perimeter with her high-level abilities to shoot it from deep and score on the block. She’s a very composed player with the ball on offense and matches up well with multiple positions on defense with her strength and athleticism.
2. Aneesah Morrow Aneesah Morrow 6'1" | SG Simeon | 2021 State #46 Nation IL , 6’1” Guard, Simeon
Making a strong case for the top spot in the class, Morrow continues to prove she’s one of the most dominant players in the country at both ends of the floor. This summer with Baylor Youth AAU, the Uncommitted Senior took over games on the offensive end with her strength and explosiveness in the lane, while knocking down shots at a high rate from outside. On the defensive side, Aneesah is a premier shot-blocker and is nearly impossible to keep off the boards.
3. Sydney Affolter Sydney Affolter 5'10" | SG Marist | 2021 State #75 Nation IL , 5’10” Guard, Marist
After a very impressive Summer with All Iowa Attack, Affolter solidified herself as the third ranked player in the Class of 2021. She’s a strong off-ball Guard who takes care of the ball and thrives in the transition game. Sydney has a terrific shot from deep and uses her strength and body control to get in the lane and finish at the hoop through contact.
4. Grace Hall Grace Hall 6'1" | SF Homewood-Flossmoor | 2021 State #99 Nation IL , 6’1” Guard/Forward, Homewood-Flossmoor
Coming in at #4 in the Rankings update, Hall is one of the most talented players in the country and can take over games from anywhere on the floor. The LSU commit uses her great athleticism and length to score at will in the lane and possesses a solid jumper from deep and the mid-range. Grace is a versatile defender, using her physical traits to lock-down Guards on the perimeter or step inside and control the paint.
5. Timia Ware Timia Ware 5'5" | PG Whitney Young | 2021 State #58 Nation IL , 5’5” Guard, Whitney Young
Entering the Top 5 for the first time, Ware had an outstanding Summer with Example Sports AAU before announcing her commitment to LSU. She is a dynamic Point Guard with Elite ball-handling skills, making her un-guardable with the ball in her hands. Timia is one of the most creative passers in the country and can score the ball well at all three levels.
6. Kendall Moriarty Kendall Moriarty 6'0" | SG Benet Academy | 2021 State #100 Nation IL , 6’1” Guard, Benet Academy
The athletic Shooting Guard and Nebraska commit checks in at #6 in the updated rankings after a solid Summer with M14 Hoops . Moriarty has a great-looking shot from deep but is at her best when driving the lane. She uses a quick first step to drive past her defender and finishes with toughness at the rim. Kendall can play and guard multiple positions with her terrific skillset and lengthy frame.
7. Anna Griffin Anna Griffin 6'1" | SF Aurora Christian | 2021 State #60 Nation IL , 6’1” Forward, Aurora Christian
Griffin is another player who can take over a game with her ability to score at all levels, as she showed this Summer with Example Sports. The Uncommitted Senior has a great combination of strength and athleticism, which she uses to control the lane and collect points, and fouls, at a high rate. Anna uses her physicality to defend posts well, and also steps outside to guard the perimeter with her quickness and agility.
8. Makiyah Williams Makiyah Williams 5'11" | SG Trinity | 2021 State IL , 5’11” Guard, Trinity
An athletic, off-ball Guard who has consistent success on both ends of the court, Williams is tough to keep tabs on throughout the game. The Marquette-bound Guard has great speed and finishing abilities at the rim that allow her to dominate the transition game. Makiyah gets in the lane with ease from the Wing and makes smart, quick decisions to take the ball to the hoop, dish off to open teammates, or knock down the mid-range jumper.
9. Krystyna Ellew Krystyna Ellew 5'10" | SG Taft | 2021 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Taft
Ellew is a high-volume scorer who collects points at all levels, especially from beyond the three-point line. The Wisconsin commit shoots the three at a high rate with deep range, from both off-the-dribble and spotting up. Krystyna can play the 1-3 with her strength and scoring abilities, in addition to her ball-handling skills and terrific court vision.
10. Kate Dennis Kate Dennis 6'1" | SG Rockford Guilford | 2021 State IL , 6’1” Guard, Rockford Guilford
A high-level Shooting Guard with Illinois Elite, Dennis is a consistent player who rarely makes mistakes. Her ability to shoot the three at a high rate and score inside with her strength and aggressiveness allow her to create matchup problems on the offensive end. Kate, an Ohio commit, is a ‘hustle player’ who takes no plays off, always chasing down rebounds and making winning plays for her team.
