The class of 2023 has a lot of talented point guards. Going into their sophomore season this winter, I would expect nothing but greater accomplishments then what they have already done. Here is who you should keep watching:

Maraja PassMarajaPass5'4" | PGShelby | 2023NCThe point guard from Shelby high school had an outstanding freshman season. She averaged 5.1 assists per game this last season (and tallied 17 points per game). She is smart with the ball in her hands, knows how to set her teammates up, and wants to dish the rock. She had 6 different outings with 7+ assists. Being the floor leader of her team, and a D2 offer already she has a bright future. She plays AAU for the Team Curry organization.

Anna Mathis: The point guard from Concord high school had a breakout season for the Spiders. She averaged 4.2 assists per game this last season (along with 4 points and 5 rebounds per game). She is crafty with the ball in her hands, she gets downhill and into the paint easily. She had 8 different outings with 6+ assists. She is feisty on defense as well, she gets easy steals and pushes the tempo in transition for her
