That being said, for all the big name prospects, there are other athletes that can flat out play the game. There are next level prospects all across Michigan. We will introduce 1 of those talented players that deserves more publicity and that college coaches will want to look at.
Name Ella Robinson
Grad Year: 2021
Height: 5’9″
Position: Forward
School: South Lyon East High School
Grassroots: FSA
Strengths:
– Aggressiveness: Robinson goes after it on both ends of the floor.
– Competitive mindset: She prides herself in wanting it more than her opponent. Her grind and hustle on the floor show her competitive spirit.
– Decision making – Robinson has a feel for what play needs to be made and when. Her game is relatively free from mental errors.
– Passing: Robinson is an excellent passer. She swings the ball quickly on the perimeter and is a strog post passer as well.
– Defense – She can buckle down 1-on-1 and has a good understanding of team defense.
Areas For Improvement:
– Communication – Talking more on defense could really put her already strong D on a brand new level.
– Shooting – An improved jumper would open more space for her to work off the dribble.

Recruitment: Robinson’s recruitment is open. She is currently being recruited by Adrian College. As high school season approaches, college coaches will want to watch her play.
