Jessica Mastriano, Hunterdon Central, Jr. – Along with senior Mackenzie Lalor, Mastriano will be a team leader for Hunterdon Central this season. She showed promise last season as a sophomore, finishing with 14 double-figure games. Mastriano put in a season-high 17 points against Sparta and scored 16 at Pope John.
Rebecca Phillips, South Hunterdon, Sr. – Phillips led South Hunterdon to a 16-12 record last year. She’ll have some help this season with the likes of junior Mayce Fleming and sophomore Eve Durkee-Neumann. Phillips averaged 10.9 points per game in 28 games in the 2019-20 season. She totaled 14 double-figure games, including a 33-point outing in a convincing win over Manville. Phillips was active on the defensive end and on the glass.
Kaitlyn O’Boyle, Delaware Valley, Jr. – O’Boyle had a productive sophomore year on the glass for Delaware Valley. She averaged nearly nine rebounds per game a season ago. Along with top returning scorer and junior Carol Anne Bredeson, O’Boyle could make a significant impact in the county.
Jessica McLaughlin, North Hunterdon, Jr. – McLaughlin and senior Kristen Newsome will be two leaders for North Hunterdon this year. She averaged nearly 10.0 points per game. McLaughlin had 11 double-digit performances a season ago, with her season-high of 19 points coming against Phillipsburg and Johnson.
Catherine Pettegrove, Voorhees, Sr. – Pettegrove was an all-around threat for Voorhees last season. She averaged 10.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game. She had 13 double-doubles last season. She finished with 88 blocks on the year, including seven against Warren Hills.
