Team Elite’s Hannah Miller (2023) was a terror on both ends of the court. She drove hard to the middle fighting through contact. She created her own fast break opportunities from grabbing steals. She consistently crashed the boards going after rebounds, especially on offense looking for those second chance opportunities.
Kyndall Sessom (2023) was also aggressive driving against contact and making some nice passes through a tough defense getting all of her teammates involved. Her eyes were constantly looking for her teammates playing very unselfish basketball. She had a nice fast break layup against contact creating an old fashioned three point play for herself.
Gabby Hudson (2022) was a great ball handler pushing the ball up the court quickly. Her speed was seen on defense, too, with the way she flew into passing lanes and got back quickly preventing the opponents from getting their own fast break. She even stripped the ball right out of her opponents’ hands on multiple occasions.
Alana Wells (2026) used her length well jumping into passing lanes and making fast break points off of them. She crashed the boards well, and she had several second chance opportunities off of offensive rebounds. When handling the ball, she made some nice fakes to get her opponents off of her in order to make a shot or pass the ball to an open teammate.
Chloe Woolfolk (2022) seemed to move all over the court making jump shots or cutting into gaps. She was creating steals, too, and pushing that up the court. She was patient when letting plays develop in order to make the best pass to her teammates.
Jayla Cook (2022) used her athleticism to run the floor well making some nice no look passes to her teammates in transition. She was constantly moving without the ball, too, finding the most open areas in the defensive gaps. She was a terror using their full court press to create turnovers. She was ready for the put back on offensive rebounds if her team needed her to.
For the Rising Stars, Janiya Johnson (2024) was one of their main ball handlers and showed that she deserved that role. She drove into the middle of the lane well showing no fear of contact. She had some nice moves with the ball creating space between her and her defender in order to put up her shot. Her hands were very active on defense causing deflections and steals that were pushed up the court going in the other direction.
Aniyah Turner (2023) was a true hustler running after loose balls and crashing the board looking for rebounds. She drove the ball fighting through contact. She was frequently one of the first players back on defense trying to stop her opponents from scoring in transition. She also grabbed some nice steals ending their possession.
Lea Boyens (2025) had a nice stroke for the Lady Rising Stars showing her range from behind the arc. She handled the ball well, too, using various moves to get her opponents off of her in order to make a pass to her teammate or get her shot up.
