A 5’9″ guard, made her announcement on her twitter account on Sunday evening. She is a prolific offensive player who has already scored more than 1,000 points after two varsity seasons of high school basketball.
Pauley had already been attracting interest from several NCAA Division I programs, but she decided to commit early to the Bears, who were the regular champions of the Missouri Valley Conference in 2020 and NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 participants in 2019.
As a freshman, Pauley averaged 27.2 points a game, which included a 57-point eruption against Green City, which was a single game state record for a freshman player. As a sophomore, she really stuffed the stat sheet as she averaged 28.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 4.0 steals while making 84 3-pointers in leading Milan to a conference championship.
Pauley spent the summer playing for the All-Iowa Attack at the 17U level.
