Talaysia Cooper Talaysia Cooper 6'1" | CG East Clarendon | 2022 State #61 Nation SC – East Clarendon HS (Turbeville) (pictured on the front)
Cooper is back for the Lady Wolverines after playing all summer on the Grassroots Circuit with Team Curry. Cooper has been a force for the Lady Wolverines since her 7th grade year. Cooper can create her offense is that is shooting the jumper, attacking the basket or creating havoc in the backcourt on the defensive end. Cooper is is nationally ranked #61 in the Prep Girls Hoops rankings. Cooper is ranked #2 in the Palmetto State Girls Class.
Imani Williams Imani Williams 5'6" | PG Dreher | 2022 State SC – Dreher HS
Williams a left-handed shifty point guard really likes to push the tempo of the game. Williams is quick off the dribble and looks to stalk the baseline at times. Williams averaged 10.1 ppg last season for the Lady Blue Devils.
Jakaiya Mack Jakaiya Mack 5'9" | PG JL Mann | 2022 State SC – JL Mann HS
Mack has no problems getting the ball into the paint or knocking down perimeter jumpers. Mack really makes heady plays in the half court offense. Mack never seems to force the issue on the floor and seems under control at all times. Mack isn’t afraid to leave it all out on the floor with her total effort at all times.
Daja Taylor Daja Taylor 5'5" | PG Newberry Academy | 2022 State SC – Newberry Academy
Taylor is back at Newberry Academy after playing last season at Oakbrook Prep. Taylor went over 1,000 career points in early January 2020 in a game vs Laurence Manning Academy. Taylor really stuffs the stat sheet every night while on the floor. Taylor really sees the floor and sets up her teammates. Taylor averaged 14 ppg, 5.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 4 steals last season for the Lady Knights.
Adiyah Owens Adiyah Owens 5'6" | PG High Point Academy | 2022 State SC – High Point Academy (Spartanburg)
Owens helped the Lady Grizzlies win a Class 1A State Championship last season. Owens averaged 12.9 ppg, 4.2 rebounds and 3 steals last season on the way to a (19-9) season. Owens plays under control and shows good poise in the back court.
Samiya Grant Samiya Grant 5'4" | PG Goose Creek | 2022 State SC – Goose Creek HS
Grant transferred over from First Baptist to the Lady Gators this fall. Grant really makes good decisions in the open court. Grant has a great floater and not many defenders can stay in front of her on the floor. Grant anticipates the passing lanes well for easy buckets.
