Rachel Early Rachel Early 5'7" | CG Dobson | 2021 State AZ (2021, 5’7’’, CG, Dobson, MoBallin Elite) – Early earned tournament MVP following her stellar play all weekend. She shot the ball well in 3 of 4 of the games and she came up big in the championship game. Early continues to prove that she is one of the top uncommitted 2021s in the class and her love for the game is undeniable. Her recruitment is starting to pick up.
Alani Encinas Alani Encinas 5'9" | CG Buena | 2022 State AZ (2022, 5’10’’ CG, Buena, AZ Rattlers Black) – Encinas came in as one of the higher ranked players in the class and she didn’t disappoint. She was simply electrifying this past weekend. Encinas handle was super tight, her creativity was at a all time high for her and she is an elite shooter. Encinas has taken considerable time off since the high school season concluded and we wanted to see how she would perform so this turned out to be a great weekend for Encinas as she was out to show that she deserves all the allocates and rankings that she has received over the past couple of years playing for Buena and the Rattlers.
Kylee Callahan (2022, 5’8’’ CG, Salpointe Catholic, TNT) – Callahan has been the ultimate grinder over the past 3 weekends and no player has raised their stock as much as she has during that time. Callahan is so steady and consistent on both ends of the court. She is a quiet leader, very efficient and Callahan’s game IQ has grown considerately over the past 12 months. Extremely impressive weekend.
Yvette Ruiz (2021, 5’5’’, PG, Moon Valley, MVP) – Ruiz is a true PG with great leadership skills and a very nice mid-range game. Her strong play and her ability to dictate the pace over the weekend helped MVP win the Consolation Championship in the Varsity division. Ruiz has some D3 opportunities and would be a nice fit for the right D2 program. She continues to get better with every showing.
Mackenly Randoph (2023, 6’, PF, G.A.P 2514) – Randoph was a dominate force in the paint all weekend. She plays more like a Point Forward due to very good court awareness and effective passing ability. Randoph battles on every play and she is tenacious on the defensive end. Expect to hear her name a lot over the next 3 years. We were provided an early look at a special player.
