The two-day event featured some of the top talent from the Northern California area as well as players from neighboring areas such as Washington and Nevada. Each class was well represented from 2021 all the way down to 2025/26. I attended the event both Sat Oct. 17 and Sun Oct. 18. Here’s a look at some of the top players from the classes of 2025 that I saw:
1. Calonni Holloway – Goldenwest Middle School 2025 (Fairfield, CA)
One of the things that stood out to me the most about Holloway was his attention to defense. As one of the youngest players at the camp, she didn’t back down from older players and played some solid man-to-man defense. She moves well without the ball and makes good cuts to the rim. Has a solid shot from three-point range. She’s a player with some high upside.
2. Zakara Cooper – Liberty Middle School 2025 (San Jose, CA)
Cooper was another player who stood out to me because of her defensive intensity. She too competed hard against more experienced players. She’s a very active defender who slides her feet well. She stays low to the court and contests shots well. She is also a crafty player attacking off the dribble. She’s very quick and can get past her defender on her way to the rim.
3. Aleyah Harmon – Sacramento Country Day School 2025 (Sacramento, CA)
Harmon, just like the other middle school players, did well competing against the older players. She’s a point guard with a lot of room to grow and develop. She’s an incredibly quick player with a strong first step. A non stop motor; she never stops hustling. She’s a blur for the defense when she’s got a head of steam and is attacking the rim.
