This week – we look at many of the day’s top performers – some who you most likely already know and others who made a name for themselves on Sunday.
Alexia Mobley Alexia Mobley 6'2" | SF Reynoldsburg | 2022 #12 Nation OH – 6’2 Guard – Reynoldsburg – Class of 2022
It’s safe to say that the Louisville Cardinals are getting a superstar in Alexia Mobley Alexia Mobley 6'2" | SF Reynoldsburg | 2022 #12 Nation OH . She may have been the most unstoppable force at the OGBR Top 64 on Sunday. Playing in her home gym, Mobley flashed elite athleticism – playing well above her defenders – seemingly making move after move with ease. Whether it be posting up, playing in the pick-and-roll or dominating in transition – Mobley did it all.
Abby Wolterman – 6’0 Post – Mount Notre Dame – Class of 2022
Abby, coming from one of the state’s top HS programs, has good size and athleticism to go with it. She is comfortable facing up and shooting the jumper or making 1-2 dribble moves to the rim. She has good touch from the mid-range and gets a high number of deflections defensively.
Reagan Simpson – 5’9 Forward – Wadsworth – Class of 2022
Simpson is a guard/forward tweener who scores at all 3 levels. She finishes extremely well through contact, while also showing good range on her 3-pointer with a quick release to match it. Reagan competed on D and showed a nose for the ball as a rebounder.
Isabella Vaillant – 6’1 Post – Perrysburg – Class of 2021
Vaillant is a skilled scorer with a special euro-step for a girl her size. She is comfortable in transition running to the rim off-the-ball or with the ball in her hands. She can play in the half-court and exploit 1-on-1 situations, as well. Isabella has truly beautiful post moves that are tough for any defender to stop.
Dana Evans – 5’8 Guard – West Clermont – Class of 2022
Evans has a trait that all players should have, but too many don’t – she plays really hard all of the time. Possessing a relentless motor, it seemed like Evans got every loose ball possible. She is very athletic – with quickness and nice spring in her step as a rebounder and finisher.
