Imarianah Russell Imarianah Russell 5'11" | SF Reynoldsburg | 2022 State #75 Nation OH – 5’11, Reynoldsburg: Russell is one of the most physical /get after every loose ball and rebound/ play like every possession is game changing- player I’ve seen, in a long time! She sticks to her opponents like glue, and has a great vertical jump that accompanies her with many offensive/defensive rebounds. And her handles- when she begins her initial drive to the basket, her first dribble is so powerful, there should be dents in the floor! Absolute killer from outside the arc, jumpers, and penetrating! Russell moves from 9 to 7 in PGH’s Rankings. She’s an unreal player to watch!
Mya Perry Mya Perry 5'11" | SF Reynoldsburg | 2022 State OH – 5’ll, Reynoldsburg: Very impressive, athletic build, and is a go-getter on both ends of the floor! Beautiful footwork, coupled with her speed equals killer moves in the paint! Very nice handles, can go coast to coast.. she covers so much territory in a short amount of time because of her length and speed! Strong finisher and can take contact- makes “and-ones’s” look easy! Hits behind the arc with ease, jumpers are solid. Shows heart and enthusiasm, great leader for her team. Perry is 10th on the PGH Rankings. Bright future!
Makiya Miller Makiya Miller 5'8" | PG Reynoldsburg | 2022 State OH – 5’7, Reynoldsburg: When watching Makiya running at the point guard position, she reminds me of Sue Bird. Her court vision is outstanding! She does a fantastic job of bringing the defense to her, and dishing to her teammates for open shots.. and her passes have some serious english put on them! She creates more assists than what many people have in points scored- it comes that natural to her. Can hit the mid-range jumpers and drain 3’s, free throws- not a problem! Defensive beast as well, sits low, and hounds her opponents. Miller is listed 31st on PGH’s Rankings. One of the best PG around!
Bella Ward Bella Ward 5'11" | SF Gahanna | 2022 State OH – 5’11, Gahanna: This girl is so fundamentally sound. Little things like how she positions her body when going in for layups, how she protects the ball after rebounding and creating the fast break- these small things that don’t show on stats, create stats for her! She anticipates so well, which lead to steals and easy points for her. Uses the glass well when in the paint. Great handles, quick feet, makes nice floaters in the paint and high arched 3’s! Moves very well without the ball, cuts hard to the basket. Ward is listed 29th on the PGH Rankings.
Chloe Chard- Peloquin, 6’2, Newark Catholic: Chloe is really making a name for herself, and placing 25th on the PGH Rankings. She’s got it all- her height and jumping ability makes her even more difficult to defend when going after rebounds. Excellent blocker, no question changes shots for opponents. And she is a killer both on the block, and outside. Pretty 3-point shooter! And at 6’2- she’s has got some serious handles! Cross-overs, ripping the ball low, dribbling in between her legs, behind the back- she’s difficult to guard! High basketball IQ- strong baller with a very promising future!
Maddie Vejsicky Maddie Vejsicky 6'0" | SF Newark | 2022 State OH – 6’0, Newark: Her length, quickness, and always anticipating the next play/ move, is just a few things that make Maddie a talented all-around player! If opposing teams make mediocre passes- they are done for.. because they quickly become steals and easy layups for Maddie within a few seconds. Great handles, can slither past anyone! Outstanding outside shooter from mid-range to 3 point land, and makes strong moves with authority in the paint. Maddie is 40th on the PGH Rankings. She’s no question a lot to deal with!
