However, there were quite a few standouts in the 2021 class and it was tough to narrow down who the five best performers were. Below we take a look at the five players who stood out the most before we dive into the best shooters, passers, rebounders, and defenders in the class.

Borowicz stands out wherever she goes. She is a slick ball-handler who creates on her own and has the ability to find teammates. She was all over the floor on both ends at the 250 making plays. Her ability to play both ends of the floor is really what made her stand out at the event. She was able to force turnovers and finish those at the other end. The passing display that she put on was magnificent as well. Borowicz was one of the best, if not the best, performers at the event.
Delaney Hoke – 6’1 F – Eagan HS
Hoke was someone who quickly jumped out to me with her length and height. She has long arms which allowed her to perform very well on the defensive side of the ball. Offensive players had a tough time getting to the basket with her in the lane and because of this, she played a huge role in a few of her teams’ wins. She ran the floor hard all day and I was always drawn to her work ethic on the floor. Rebounded the ball well and was able to get to the rim. It really was an overall complete event for Hoke.
Gianna Kneepkens

Kneepkens is a crafty scoring guard and she showed her scoring ability once again at the showcase. She was able to get to the rim with ease but she was also able to find her way into the midrange as well as knockdown her open outside shots. Kneepkens was on fire in her second game of the day where it seemed like she couldn’t miss. Even though she was hot, she was never selfish with the ball. She’s a solid distributor and we were able to see a complete offensive showing on Saturday.
Lucia Hauge

Hauge wasn’t someone who caught your attention each time down the floor and she wasn’t someone who scored a ton of points each game but she did play very consistently all day long. She was able to score the ball a little and make some nice defensive plays but I thought that the best part of her game was the lack of mistakes that she made. Hauge was able to take care of the ball and was always seemingly in the right spot on the floor. She might have been overlooked at the showcase but she was one of the top performing players there.
Aliyah Wensel – 5’5 PG – Park Center HS
Wensel was a nice surprise on Saturday as she made quite a few nice plays on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she was able to get to the rim and knock down some shots. She was also able to move the ball well and never let it stick in her hands. Defensively, I thought that she did a very good job staying in front of her man guarding her. Wensel impressed me with her quick hands poking the ball away numerous times throughout the afternoon. In my first viewing of her I thought that she was one of the best 2021 guards there.
