However, there were quite a few standouts in the 2022 class and it was tough to narrow down who the five best performers were. Below we take a look at the five players who stood out the most before we dive into the best shooters, passers, rebounders, and defenders in the class.

Aumer was on fire from the opening tip. She was playing aggressive with the ball and getting to the rim at a very high rate. Aumer was also shooting the lights out as in the first game she had close to 25 points. It was the top offensive display of the afternoon and really showed us what she is capable on the offensive side. Defensively, she was making a lot of things happen with her length. She was able to get into the lane and get her hands on the ball and push it up the floor for a score. She played a very well rounded three games.

. Colbeck was able to go toe to toe with her scoring wise in their game and scored the ball at all three levels. She has a quick release and doesn’t always have to get her feet squared up to the basket to make a shot. I thought defensively she held her own against one of the top pure scorers in the state. Colbeck was one player who I hadn’t seen before and she really jumped onto my radar.
Emma Miller

At this point, you kind of know what you are going to get with Miller. She’s going to be a high energy guard who is very quick laterally and horizontally and gives maximum effort each time down the floor. In fact, her energy and effort is what draws me to her each time I see her play. Miller is the definition of a true point guard as she plays really solid defense and combines that with great court vision and passing. She was able to make a few of her patented floaters as well and on the whole kept the ball moving well.

Fandre impressed me quickly with her ability to shoot it from the mid-range. She got hot early on in her second game and was able to do a lot of good things scoring the ball. She hit a few pullups and got to the rim well. Fandre is a crafty finisher for her size on the inside and gave her opponents a tough task to stop. She was able to rebound the ball really well and was among the top rebounders on the day. I was very impressed with her overall ability on Saturday and I thought she was one of the top 2022’s in attendance performance wise.

Scalia shot the ball exceptionally well and was a really nice piece to a really good team at the showcase. She has a quick release and was able to make plays happen on both ends of the floor. I thought that her game management on the offensive side was very good as she commanded the ball well. Defensively, I thought that she had a very good motor and because of that was able to generate some turnovers. I loved how she fed off her teammates and was able to make a difference on both ends of the floor.
