Here are 5 more on the rise
Emerie Adams-5’9 F (Illusion)
Adams has a lot to work with right now, first of all, she falls into that long and athletic category, and for those who pay attention, that is the base I start off with when evaluating players and what they do with it so she plays the passing lane, always a great sign and she can handle the ball, go coast to coast after the still and finish, under pressure, another great sign yet when you throw she sees the floor and at her size, that’s pretty impressive and let’s talk about her handle, nice crossover right now
Laila Hatcher-5’5 G (Della Running Angels)
Hatcher is very athletic and uses it nicely, especially zig-zagging by defenders with the ball as well as attacking the rim and finishing acrobatically and after contact but her handle, she too has a nice crossover, gives her numerous options because she can throw blazing passes between defenders on the money, her range is very good right now, she creates her shot while being tightly defended and she applies full-court pressure on defense as well as plays the passing lane
Hope Bump-5’8 G (Team Tulsa)
Bump has the right surname because she can take it and bounce right off defenders for the pull-up jumper as well as attacking the rim and finishing strongly with contact but as good as I’m projecting where she’ll be her BB-IQ as well as understanding the importance of two things, getting hers in the flow and taking over when needed and her unselfishness completes her game because she can play multiple positions, she defends well and she does a good job rebounding
Selch Harmon-5’8 G (Trae Young Elite Platinum 2025)
Harmon dazzles defenders with the ball, already and that will only get better as she has the crossover down, yep another one, as well as the HEZ, aka hesitation, and when you understand how to keep defenders off-balance, especially in the open court, you are more than likely going to create problems in high school quickly, especially when you can see the floor. Harmon also understands how to create her shot in the half-court, she can attack and finish as well as shoot the long ball
Ava Casper-5’5 PG (PWP)
Casper also has the HEZ working in repertoire as well as a slight stutter step to keep the defense on its toes but even the skills, she showed she could create her shot and it was nice to watch her transfer it over to the games and watching her understand how and when to attack the rim and whether to keep it or dish, she did a good job passing the ball as well, was nice to see but when she creates her shot she also showed a consistent pull-up jumper to give her a nice mix
