#21 Hayley Numrich Hayley Numrich 5'4" | CG Blue Valley Northwest | 2022 State KS , 5’4″, Blue Valley Northwest, Kansas Elite – I first saw Numrich at September’s I-35 Wichita Showcase event. She caught my eye initially because of her defense. Numrich as an absolute beast, locking in on every opponent she drew. She also showed off handles and offensive quicks. It is hard to overlook a player who was only one of two players to successfully drive to the hole and score on now #5 ranked Emajin McCallop Emajin McCallop 5'7" | CG Bishop Miege | 2022 State KS . Numrich continued her strong play at the Kansas PGH Top 250 Exposure event in October. She played physically and with speed. She also was very active on both ends of the floor and transitioned well.
#101 Kylie Arnold Kylie Arnold 5'4" | CG Salina South | 2022 State KS , 5’4″, Salina South, Wheat State Elite – At the Wichita I-35 Showcase Arnold caught the attention of several coaches. She ran the ran the floor with speed and kept her eye on ball, which continued into moving well without the ball. Additionally, Arnold did a terrific job of creating space out of movement and showed high IQ, good vision, and solid handles to dribble out of trouble in the full- and half-court. With her strong motor, she was able to turn catches into perimeter shots and quick basket attacks.
#142 Denae McElrath Denae McElrath 5'7" | CG Wichita East | 2022 State KS , 5’7″, Wichita East – If people are paying attention they be noticing the depth East has in the back court. McElrath showed at October’s No Boundaries/MaxLab Training scrimmage that she will be a part of that pool. She hustles, is the first to hit the floor to get loose balls, and is unafraid to take the ball at the trees. A fast guard who handles well, she was able to blow by other participating teammates to create.
#174 Sophia Tewell, Blue Valley West – While Tewell is the only one of the four I personally have not seen play, PGH’s Israel Potoczny noted in February that she is “An up-and-coming guard for West who brings a 3-point shot and some skills to the floor.” He also described her as a speedy player with ball skills. She spots well on the perimeter to score when the ball swings her way.
