Class of 2021 Signees (Part 1)
2021 5’11 SG Talia von Oelhoffen Talia von Oelhoffen 5'11" | SG Chiawana | 2021 State #22 Nation WA (Chiawana HS/NW Blazers) – Signed to Oregon State
One of the country’s top scoring guards will be staying in the PNW and heading to top 25 program, Oregon State University. Winner of the Wooten All-American 1 on 1 championship, as well as former winner of the adidas All-American 1 on 1 tournament. von Oelhoffen can create her own shot with the best of them, but she is also good for some crafty passes at different points in the game as well. She has a strong frame and has the offensive skill set to contribute for a top 25 level program.
2021 6’2 PF Trista Hull Trista Hull 6'2" | PF La Salle | 2021 State WA (La Salle HS/NW Blazers) – Signed to Boise State
The state’s highest rated power forward is headed to Mountain West Conference contender, Boise State University. Hull has great length and just a solid all around offensive skill set. She can hit the midrange jumper, face up at the high post, or score with her back to the basket. Hull is recovering from a knee injury suffered earlier this year, but she will have a full recovery soon and figures to be a strong asset for the Broncos at the next level.
2021 5’11 PF Mia Hughes Mia Hughes 5'11" | PF Woodinville | 2021 State WA (Woodinville HS/Way to Win) – Signed to Montana State
As far as individual and team accomplishments over the course of the last year, Hughes has put together one of the absolute best resumes in Washington’s 2021 class. She has a set of the best hands I have seen in our region as she catches every pass and rebounds so strong and has a knack for finishing plays around the basket. She projects to be a real impact player for Montana State.
2021 5’11 SF Tamia Stricklin Tamia Stricklin 5'11" | SF Seattle Prep | 2021 State WA (Seattle Prep/NW Blazers) – Signed to Fresno State
The definition of a consistent level producer at the high school and club level. Stricklin consistently scores double digits and grabs 5-7 rebounds along with her high level basketball IQ. She will bring a diverse offensive skill set to Fresno State and they will expect her to be able to defend multiple positions with her length and strength. *Feature image
