Elite 360 Camp: Player Evaluations

Last weekend was the Elite 360 event which brought together a lot of the top talent throughout Iowa and Wisconsin. Below you can find evaluations of all of the participants who were in attendance at the event.
Makenna Clark Makenna Clark 5'7" | PG Ankeny Centennial | 2023 State IA – Clark was very effective on Saturday at the Elite 360 camp. She has improved her ball handling and looks to be in a really good spot to help her team out a lot this upcoming season. She communicated with her teammates really well at the event. She looks stronger with the ball in her hands and showed really nice entry passing ability at the event.
MaKenzie Drout MaKenzie Drout 5'9" | CG Kimberly | 2023 State WI – Drout is a player who you think is going to score the ball every single time she gets it. Tough-minded guard who likes to draw contact going to the rim. Great scorer of the basketball when getting downhill to the basket and doesn’t need to be on a stable base to make her shot. Crafty finisher who works both sides of the rim. She’s a player who can get you a bucket when you need it.
Elliana Magestro-Kennedy – Magestro-Kennedy has gotten so much better over the last few months. I really like her aggression on the offensive end of the floor where she can shoot the jumper, get to the rim, or dish the ball off for an easy bucket. She has a great motor and will always play hard for her team. Solid ball handling with the ability to create space to get to her shot on her own.
Emma Weiner – Weiner is a quick guard who gets to the rim well off the bounce and has the ability to score at the rim over length. She was able to play really solid on the defensive side of the ball getting into passing lanes and getting her hands on the ball. High IQ player who can move the ball down the floor with pace. She was a really solid player once she gained some confidence against the competition.
Abbie Dix Abbie Dix 5'11" | PF Brodhead | 2023 WI – Dix showcased a lot of skill during the skill work and then showed the ability to transfer that over to the gameplay. I thought that she was able to score the ball at a high level and also get her teammates involved. Dix plays unselfishly and showed her ability to pass the ball well on the offensive end. She is a true inside-outside threat when she is on the floor.
Sydney Kenkel – Kenkel was impressive with how well she shot the ball and got to the rim. She’s gotten more versatile over the past year and has been able to really transform her game. Played very solid defense and was able to guard both post players and stay in front of guards. Showcased a high basketball IQ and was able to good a lot of good things on both ends of the court.
Arianna Jackson Arianna Jackson 5'9" | PG Roosevelt | 2023 State IA – Jackson is one of those players who when you see her on the floor she immediately sticks out. She performed well in the 1-on-1 drills and she was able to perform well in the 3-on-3 setting. She gets to her shot really well and is a crafty scored at the basket. Jackson is a great teammate and will always make players around her better. Defensively I thought she was very solid as well.
Avree Antony Avree Antony 5'10" | SG Sun Prarie | 2023 State WI – Antony is one of the top players in the 2023 class in the midwest and she showed why at the Elite 360 event this past weekend. Such a strong lower base allows her to attack defenders going to the rim. Fearless competitor who brings it every time she steps on the floor. Good ball handler with the ability to create separation easily. Dominant stepback shot which she can hit quickly from beyond the arc.
Emily Jaenke Emily Jaenke 5'10" | CG Fox Valley Luthern | 2023 State WI – Jaenke is one of the best shooters that I have seen this summer. Every time she shoots the ball I feel like it is going to go in. High confidence scorer who uses her length well to get to her spots on the offensive end. Doesn’t have to be set to make shots. Smart player who isn’t going to be a volume shooter but someone who will shoot it when open. Her length helps a lot of the defensive side of the ball.
Jenna Hopp Jenna Hopp 5'11" | SG Glenwood | 2023 State IA – Hopp is one of the best players in the 2023 class in Iowa. She’s a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc and has gotten much better over the past year at finishing at the rim. I have been impressed with her willingness to get to the basket at a high rate rather than settle for jumpers. Very good showing in the 1-on-1 portion of the event as well as she showed really good footwork.
Bria Wasmund Bria Wasmund 5'5" | PG Sibley-Ocheyedan | 2023 State IA – Wasmund showed great poise on Saturday at the Elite 360 event. She was confident with the ball in her hands and was able to get things moving on the offensive end. I thought that she was smart with the ball in her hands and was able to make plays. Defensively, she was stellar as she was able to not let her man get to the basket often. A very intriguing guard prospect in Iowa.
Bella Pudenz – Pudenz is a very strong and able bodied player who wasn’t flashy on Saturday but played very well. I thought that she showed the ability to get to the rim on the offensive end but also score the ball from the outside. She has a lot of upside within her game and I thought that she displayed a lot of talent. Once she becomes more confident in her game I think you will see her game expand quite a lot.
Haidyn Hull Haidyn Hull 5'9" | SG Grinnell | 2023 State IA – Hull came to the event and fit right in with the talent that was around her. She’s a very hard worker who can play multiple spots on the floor and have good success doing so. Very good shooter who can mix in dribble drive as well. Versatile player who can fit on the floor in multiple spots. Still has a way to go before she hits her ceiling. One of the more intriguing 2023 prospects from Iowa with her versatility.
Ava Hawthorne Ava Hawthorne 5'10" | PG Gilbert | 2022 State IA – Hawthorne is one of the most effective players that you can find on the court. She doesn’t do anything that is flashy but will fil the stat sheet at the end of the day. Tremendous upside on the offensive end of the floor distributing the ball and scoring it. Great teammate who will always make the right play to put her teammates in the most successful spots to make a play. All around talent on both sides of the ball.
Reggi Spotts – Spotts was probably one of the most impressive players at the event with how well she played. She played exceptionally well on both ends of the floor and was able to shoot it at a very high rate. She was impressive in the skill work with her ability to score one on one and defend. She’s going to be someone who makes an impact this year for her high school team at the varsity level.
Karissa Smith Karissa Smith 5'9" | SG Appleton North | 2023 State WI – Smith is a very impressive guard who has a high basketball IQ and makes good decisions with the basketball. I thought the over the past month she’s gotten a lot better with the ball in her hands and has grown more confident. She showed the ability to defend well at the showcase and was able to turn quite a few turnovers into points for her team. I think she is in store for a very big high school season.
Macy Donarski Macy Donarski 5'7" | PG Aquinas | 2023 State WI – Donarski is a very talented player who is at her best in the transition game. She is a great communicator with the ball in her hands and sees the floor extremely well. Excellent passer who does not tend to force much. She has a very good stepback which she can hit with regularity. Crafty finisher at the rim where she has gotten better with both hands since the summer.
Felicity Figlinski – Figlinski is a player who has a lot of upside and a knack for making plays on the floor. I was impressed with her overall feel for the game and the ability to make quick decisions with the ball in her hands. I like her frame and as she matures she will be able to hold a lot of strength. Good motor and communicated well during 3-on-3. She makes everyone around her better.
Bryar Duwe Bryar Duwe 5'7" | PG Decorah | 2023 State IA – Duwe is a hard working guard who has a knack for scoring the basketball. A true three level scorer, Duwe can fill up the basket. A potent midrange game compliments her ability to get to the rim and score the ball. I have been really impressed with her comfort level playing against some of the top competition. Duwe has a winning mindset and it is easy to see once she steps on the floor.
Reagan Baldwin – Baldwin was the youngest player at the camp and she still held her own. It will be fun to watch her develop because she is already someone who has gone against the best of the best and much older competition. She can shoot the ball from the outside and has the ability to score on the inside. Good rebounder of the basketball and looks to outlet it quickly. She’s a player to watch in her class.
Carlee Rochford Carlee Rochford 5'10" | PG New Hampton | 2023 State IA – Rochford is a player who I saw last year and thought that she had quite a bit of potential. Now I think she is starting to gain some of that potential as she has improved her skill. She’s a very athletic guard who can defend spots 1-4 on the floor. Good shooter from the outside when set and her length allows her to finish quite well at the rim. She will continue to refine her skills and I think could really make a jump in the next year.
Callie Levin – Levin is a point guard who is giving maximum effort all the time. Great looking shot from beyond the arc and has the burst to blow by you if you get out on her too far. Good fundamentals on the defensive side of the ball where she is very mature. A player who you can watch and see the potential in her game from the moment she steps on the floor. High ceiling prospect in the 2024 class.
Sahara Williams Sahara Williams 5'11" | SF Waterloo West | 2023 State IA – Williams was one of the top performers at the event as she quickly stood out athletically among everyone. Gets to the rim at a very high rate and can finish well. Defensively she uses her length well and it allows her to get her hands on the ball easily. She’s improved a ton over the last six months and is just starting to realize the potential that she has with her game. A big stockriser in the 2023 class nationally.
