Taylor Haynes Taylor Haynes 5'10" | CG Northern Guilford | 2021 NC | Northern Guilford | CG
Haynes is a dynamic player who knows how to move her body well in order to get a good pass into her teammates. She shows off her vision of the court by making sure to find ways to have her teammates contribute. She is patient with her moves, too, making sure to read the defense and move at the exact right time for her to show off her shot or make a pass into her teammates. Haynes seems to be making passes into her teammates before fans even see that there was an open person. She can certainly grab rebounds and push it up the court to score in transition. She has a great midrange jump shot, and she shows no fear of contact even when someone is trying to jump in her face. On defense, she shows off her vision by jumping into passing lanes and diving on the floor for loose balls.
Je’bria Fullwood Je’bria Fullwood 5'9" | SF Greensboro Day | 2021 NC | Winston Salem Christian | SF
Fullwood is a player who could most likely play any position on the court, and she can certainly guard them all. She is a tough opponent in the paint making sure she has her way with where she wants to go in order to score, and she will move bodies to grab rebounds. She is also a great ball handler and knows exactly how to score when she gets the ball behind the three point line whether she is driving to the basket or showing off her shot. She can push the ball up the court herself after grabbing a rebound or a steal. I am looking forward to seeing how she performs for her upcoming senior year.
Monay Galloway Monay Galloway 5'0" | CG East Forsyth | 2021 NC | East Forsyth | CG
Galloway is consistently a leader in assists for the teams that she plays on. She knows how to find her teammates in order for them to contribute, and she can certainly score herself whether she is driving to the basket or showing off her shot from downtown. She shows no fear of incoming contact as she can score despite any player that is trying to swat the ball away from her. When she drives to the basket, she has an arsenal of moves that she uses to get by her opponents like hesitation moves, jab steps, and crossovers. She’s a tough defender picking the pocket of guards and preventing them from getting their passes off, too.
Alana Gary Alana Gary 5'6" | CG West Forsyth | 2021 NC | West Forsyth | CG
Gary has been consistently grabbing a handful of steals this summer. That translates well to her making her own offense by obtaining the possession. Gary is dynamic with her ability to handle the ball and score, especially off of offensive rebounds. She can power through anyone trying to prevent her from scoring in the paint, and she can drive the ball even when she gets the pass on the outside of the three point line. She has a good variety of post moves that she uses to score in the paint, and she has a nice three point shot. She does a great job of getting her teammates involved making smart passes, especially ones in transition.
Jaydn Hoover Jaydn Hoover CG East Forsyth | 2021 NC | East Forsyth | CG
Hoover is very good when it comes to handling the ball, and she does an excellent job selling her moves making it common to see her break opponents’ ankles while they try to guard her. She can blow by defenders driving to the basket without fear of contact. She can also shoot from all over the court including from three point range. She does a great job seeing the court, too, making sure to get all of her teammates involved with passes. Her knowledge of basketball moves helps her on defense because she can certainly steal the ball right out from under a guard’s nose when they are trying to get by her.
