Marianna Papazoglou Marianna Papazoglou 5'11" | SG Wildwood Catholic | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Wildwood Catholic
Papazoglou is one of the top returning players in the state for the upcoming season. She was a true scorer at all three levels of the floor as a junior. She knocked down 24 three’s and averaged nearly 20 points per contest. The Penn commit will be a must watch player in 2020-2021.
Kate Herlihy (2021) | Middle Township
Middle Township had a true two-headed monster in Herlihy and Kira Sides Kira Sides 5'9" | CG Middle Township | 2020 State NJ last season. With Sides moving on, this leaves Herlihy as the leading scorer returning. She was second on the team scoring 12 points per game and knocking down 36 three’s.
Quanirah Cherry-Montague (2023) | Atlantic City
Montague was a huge part of an Atlantic City team that won the conference tournament a season ago. As a freshman, she excelled as a rebounder and defender. She averaged just over eight points and eight rebounds per game. Those numbers will continue to go up through the years.
Marin Panico (2022) | Ocean City
Panico was a main contributor to Ocean City during her time as an underclassman. That will take a step up as a junior. She is a guard who excels at getting to the rim for some easy baskets. She knows how to use her speed to get by defenders and to the rim.
Kaitlyn Boggs (2022) | Mainland
Mainland is losing the top players in New Jersey in Kylee Watson Kylee Watson 6'4" | SF Mainland | 2020 State NJ . It is up to players like Boggs to step up and take on a leadership role. She was the team’s second leading scorer as a sophomore. Mainland will look to Boggs to take that next step as both a player and a leader this season. This is something she is capable of doing.
