Tara Johnson Tara Johnson 5'9" | SG University | 2021 State NJ (2021) | University
Johnson has been one of the top players in the conference for years. She was a proven star during her junior season. Johnson finished the season averaging 15 points and over seven rebounds per contest. This trend will continue during her senior season.
Triniti Haskins Triniti Haskins 5'10" | SG East Orange | 2022 State NJ (2022) | East Orange
Haskins emerged as one of the top players in the conference as a sophomore. She scored 462 points and was an elite rebounder on both ends. Haskins had a knack at scoring the ball and making the correct play on the floor.
Ava Intile (2021) | Livingston
Intile will return to Livingston as the leading scorer from a year ago. As a junior, Intile built her reputation as a dynamic scorer or one of the top teams in the SEC.
Ryan Cannataro (2021) | Cedar Grove
Cannataro prove to be a dual-threat player for Cedar Grove. She was elite on both ends of the floor. Cannataro was a scorer at all three levels and could defend the other team’s top players. This is a skill that will take the next step as a senior.
Liana Minichini (2023) | Nutley
There are freshman every season that seem to breakout and that was Minichini for Nutley. She knocked down 43 three’s in her first high school season. She was a threat from the perimeter from the moment she stepped on the floor.
Destiny Hines (2022) | Newark Central
There are many high-level players in the city of Newark. Hines has to be mentioned in the conversation because of the level she plays at on both ends. Hines will continue to grow her game and take the next step. She will be a dark-horse player this season in the SEC.
