A supremely underrated skill to have in basketball is great free-throw shooting.  Analytics have told us more and more what should have been obvious long ago: converting from the line where nobody is able to defend your shot is one of the most valuable ways to get points.  Players who are able to get to the line regularly, and even more importantly convert those opportunities, have a big leg up.  Here are the rising seniors who shot 80% or better from the line.

Sammi SitesSammiSites5'7" | SGMartin County | 2021StateKY, Johnson Central- It’s no surprise to see Sites atop this list, as she is known as an elite outside shooter.  She used that prowess to shoot 83.4% on 181 attempts from the line, and impressive volume for someone who’s thought of as more of an outside player.

Cayson ConnerCaysonConner5'8" | PGMarshall County | 2021StateKY, Marshall County- Another strong outside shooter, Conner combines her long-range shooting with more of an attacking mindset, a great combination for free throw success.  This resulted in 81% shooting on 153 attempts, numbers that are both top-notch.

Kierston Smith, Raceland- The only player on this list who is not one of our top-ranked players in the state, Smith nonetheless had plenty of success from
