We take a look at the top shooters from past sessions, as these players displayed the uncanny ability to put the ball through the cylinder. Katelyn Heideman was a late entry for Oregon Elite Gold but shoots it at such a high clip it was difficult not to notice. Allie Hueckman Allie Hueckman 5'10" | SG Burns | 2021 State OR kept shooting at an insane percentage for Oregon Elite Navy whereas Mackenzie Naro was a catalyst from deep for Clutch Cardinal. Emma Sixta Emma Sixta 5'10" | SG Jesuit | 2023 State OR got it going from alongside the arc for Clutch Rose. Carly Stone Carly Stone 5'9" | SG Mountainside | 2022 State OR is a confident shooter for NW Stars Navy and Reagan Jamison is an able and willing shooter from NW Stars White.
Katelyn Heideman 2022 5’4″ SG Oregon Elite Gold/Hermiston HS – Katelyn is a shooting specialist for Oregon Elite Gold whose main duty when she gets into the game is to provide an offensive spark as she has a very quick release and can get into rhythm very quickly. Doesn’t need any plays run for her as she can sink a few in a row and doesn’t need a lot of space to knock them down.
Allie Hueckman Allie Hueckman 5'10" | SG Burns | 2021 State OR 2021 5’10″ SG Oregon Elite Navy/Burns HS – the athletic and refined three-sport athlete is an accurate shooter whose ability to hang in the air aids her tremendously, giving her an edge over her defender in every scenario. She hits the three-pointer with great accuracy, carrying her momentum from under her legs efficiently into her shot.
Mackenzie Naro 2021 5’8″ SG Clutch Cardinal/Beaverton HS – Naro was a catalyst for Clutch Cardinal, as she not only sank them routinely for her club – but also had an excellent shot selection. Never forcing/pressing the issue along with a quick release, Mackenzie had several games where she didn’t miss a shot from deep. On top of this, she is also an all-around team oriented, savvy guard.
Emma Sixta Emma Sixta 5'10" | SG Jesuit | 2023 State OR 2023 5’10″ SG Clutch Rose/Jesuit HS – Sixta began to hit alongside the arc for Clutch Rose, as the talented and cerebral guard from Jesuit HS is a talented and able player. She is crafty in getting her shot off with a multitude of dribble combination moves and has a shooter’s mentality with her steady hand and exuberant confidence.
Carly Stone Carly Stone 5'9" | SG Mountainside | 2022 State OR 2022 5’8″ SG NW Stars Navy/Mountainside HS – the Mountainside guard has a quick release and confident demeanor when it comes to shooting the ball – as her game revolves around this one specialization. She has an excellent shot selection and isn’t afraid of the big moment, as she hit a dagger against Cal Sparks to help keep them in the game against an elite club.
Reagan Jamison 2024 6’0″ PF NW Stars White/Camas HS – During their last run in Arizona, Jamison was shooting at an extremely high clip, as the Camas native simply couldn’t miss from deep. Aided by her height, she also displays great shooting tendencies and discipline as she employs good mechanics and shooting form, which could be seen through her consistency.
