We want to offer up thoughts and highlight those players from each class and each grade level some publicity to try and help them gain the attention of a college coach or two.

Baylie Girres, Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln (2022)
Check in on Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln this winter and you are likely to find Baylie Girres doing it all. The talented junior has been quite the force through eight games, scoring 88 points.
However, that is far from all she is taking care of. Girres also has 46 rebounds, including 15 on the offensive glass, with 23 assists, 12 steals and 12 blocked shots.
Lily Juhnke, Sioux City West (2022)
Sioux City West junior Lily Juhnke is the perfect trigger-finger for the offensive attack. Juhnke has been able to handle her own, scoring 73 points, but she also has 30 assists in just seven games this year.
Juhnke is shooting over 42 percent from the field and nearly 36 percent from the 3-point line, burying 11 triples.
Brooke Woodyard Brooke Woodyard 6'0" | PF Southeast Polk | 2022 State IA , Southeast Polk (2022)
As part of a balanced attack at Southeast Polk, Brooke Woodyard Brooke Woodyard 6'0" | PF Southeast Polk | 2022 State IA continues to maintain a high pace. She has scored 52 points in four games, adding in 22 rebounds – 12 of which have come off the offensive glass.
Woodyard, who checks in at 6-foot tall, is shooting nearly 53 percent from the floor, 64 percent from the free throw stripe and has even made three triples.
Olivia Baxter, Dubuque Senior (2022)
The 6-foot-1 Olivia Baxter is quite the imposing figure inside the paint and as the last line of defense for Dubuque Senior. Baxter has blocked 30 shots in six games, and re-directed countless others.
She also has 85 points with 71 rebounds, including 40 off the offensive glass.
Kayla Benson, Sioux City East (2022)
Sioux City East’s Kayla Benson can light up the scoreboard in a hurry. Benson is a capable long-range shooter, knocking down 26 three-pointers this year.
She is shooting 50 percent from the field, 55 percent from deep and has 100 points to go along with 13 steals, 10 assists and 29 rebounds.
