We want to offer up thoughts and highlight those players from each class and each grade level some publicity to try and help them gain the attention of a college coach or two.

Halle Vice, Pleasant Valley (2023)
An elite scorer, Halle Vice sits at 83 points in seven games for Pleasant Valley. Vice is shooting 39 percent from the field and nearly 30 percent from the 3-point line, sinking a team-high 13 triples in all.
She also has 21 steals to go along with 16 rebounds and 13 assists for the Spartans.

It is quite apparent that Kaliyah Sain Kaliyah Sain 5'10" | SF Cedar Rapids Kennedy | 2023 State IA has worked hard over the offseason to improve her skills. After playing in just two games as a freshman for Cedar Rapids Kennedy a year ago, Sain has jumped into the starting lineup and found great success.
She has scored 62 points, including nine made 3-pointers, to go with 22 rebounds, eight assists and seven steals.

Indianola’s Emily Naughton Emily Naughton 5'5" | PG Indianola | 2023 State IA continues to grow into a five-tool player. Naughton has posted 44 points with 30 rebounds, 20 assists and 17 steals in seven games for the Indians.
The 5-foot-5 guard is shooting 52 percent from the field and over 68 percent at the free throw line this year.

A late start to the season has not kept Jariah Harris Jariah Harris 5'11" | SF Cedar Rapids Jefferson | 2023 State IA from catching fire. The Cedar Rapids Jefferson sophomore has already scored 41 points with 19 rebounds in just three games.
The 5-foot-11 Harris can play from inside or out, and is also strong at the free throw line where she has knocked down almost 70 percent of her shots.

We know about Halli Poock Halli Poock 5'6" | PG Waterloo West | 2023 State IA , but she is far from the only talented member of the Class of 2023 wearing a Waterloo West jersey. Check out Sahara Williams Sahara Williams 5'11" | SF Waterloo West | 2023 State IA if you have not yet, as she has scored 78 points with 43 rebounds, 15 assists, 14 steals and three blocks in just four games.
Williams flashed all of her shooting skills in a win over Waterloo Columbus earlier this year, scoring 22 points on 7 of 12 from the floor including 3-for-4 from the 3-point line. She also hit all five of her free throws that night.
