Every game these ladies bring the energy, and sense of urgency to put their team in the best position to win.
It’s great to hear that the players have found a home to continue their basketball career at the next level. They can play among the best in Colorado. Here are some players that are underrated coming into this new season. Keep your eyes open!
Megan Pohs Megan Pohs 5'3" | PG Mullen | 2021 State CO (PG, 5’3″, Mullen)
Pohs has a great basketball IQ who loves to get her teammates involved with her ability to make timely passes. She shows that she can score the ball in a variety of ways. Pohs is one of the top 3 point shooters in the state putting up 60-of-153 (39 percent). She led her team to a state title in 18’-19’ season, and was close to a repeat last season despite the season ending earlier than what was expected. She averaged 11.6 points per game on 103-of-251 (41 percent) from the floor.

Kylie Kravig Kylie Kravig 5'9" | PG University | 2021 State CO (G, 5’8, University)
Kravig led her team deep to the great 8 last season entering the state playoffs with the number 6 ranking. She is one of top scorers in her league, and can score in bunches. She can slice through the defense with a variety of finishing around the rim. Kravig does a good job creating contact to convert points from the free throw line. She is an efficient player with she is on the floor, and also loves to dish to open teammates. She averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.4 assist, and 3.8 steals per game.

Nikki Derrell Nikki Derrell 5'3" | PG Sand Creek | 2021 State CO (G, Sand Creek)
Derrell recently commited to Saint Xavier University is a player that can light it up from behind the arc. She shot more threes last season than any other attempts. Derrell shot the ball from behind the arc 59-of-168 (35 percent). She scored a season high in points in 2 different contest scoring 20 points. She has already joined to 1,000 point club last season, and will look to continue to add to those points as it is her last season. Derrell averaeged 14.5 points, 3.9 assist, and 2.6 steals per game.

Liberty Line Liberty Line 5'7" | SG Ponderosa | 2021 State CO (G, 5’7″, Ponderosa)
Line is a tough player to contain when she is on the floor, she brings a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. She is one Colorado’s most 3 point made shooters last season knocking down a total of 71. She averaged 16.3 points per game on 133-of-343 (39 percent) from the floor. Line put a total of 408 points in the 19’-20’, and over a 1,000 points in her career. She has been adding value to her game every year.
Breanna Fowler Breanna Fowler 5'8" | PG Berthoud | 2021 State CO (G, 5’8″, Berthoud)
Fowler recently committed to Western Nebraska Community College plays with a lot of passion, and does a great job making the opposing team uncomfortable with her ability to get deflections. She was the second leader in points per game last season averaging 14.0. Fowler will look to continue to lead her team as former teammate graduates who led the team in points. Fowler also averaged 4.0 assist, and 3.5 steals per game to help lead her team to a 24-3 record overall.
