Here are a few names of the 2024s & 2025s, hope you enjoy this list of girls and evaluations.
2024, 5’9, SG, Orange Lutheran HS, Gabby Robinson Gabby Robinson 5'10" | CG Mater Dei | 2024 State CA – Dynamic big guard/wing with a nice skill set on the floor, she is aggressive, she can score the ball and is one of the savviest ones on the court most times. She knows how to use her size, dominating little guards, but her best attribute is her vision to setup teammates for scores. She has to work on her focus as most freshmen do, but she is intimidating to opponents none the less. Nice midrange shot, nice get to the basket game and a developing three point shooter in our eyes.
2024, 5’9, SF, Westlake HS, Kate Hackney Kate Hackney 5'9" | SF Bishop Alemany | 2024 State CA – Kate has a good size body for her age, she is solid and strong in her drive game and is able to get to the rim and finish. She is also a great rebounder with a great motor for her age and is mentally intense on the floor. Kates game is much more mature than her age and is relentless on the floor with a great attitude that seems to be contagious on the floor with her teammates.
2024, 5’8, CG, St. Anthony HS, Ryann Bennett Ryann Bennett 5'6" | PG St. Anthony | 2024 State CA – Bennett is entering her first year of high school basketball and she looks like she has some major upside. She is a crafty ballhandler who can handle defensive pressure and she has good court vision. She can see the floor and find open players; a true point guard. She’s also a solid shooter from three-point range and has good form on her jumper. Definitely a player who can make an impact right away as a freshman.
2024, 5’4, PG, Mayfair HS, Syri Prevo – Prevo was a player I got to watch at Reno and it’s no surprise that she was invited back to the Vegas showcase. She’s a very solid ballhandler who keeps her dribble low and the ball close to the ground; dribbles with her head up. When I saw her, she was one of the best in one-on-one drills. She has a ton of upside and all the tools to be an effective scorer at the high school level.
2025, 5’8, G, Golden West MS, Calonni Holloway – One of the things that stood out to me the most about Holloway was his attention to defense. As one of the youngest players at the camp, she didn’t back down from older players and played some solid man-to-man defense. She moves well without the ball and makes good cuts to the rim. Has a solid shot from three-point range. She’s a player with some high upside.
2025, 5’6, CG, Middle School, Deana Thompson – Deana is a dynamic young combo guard that is in the lab working to be better each and every opportunity. She can shoot the rock, she has handles and is working on becoming a much more high IQ player. She can get to the rim, she can defend and she is gonna be a special one if she keeps working on her game. Look forward to watching her at the showcase, she is fun to watch, I have heard…
