Joe Fenelon, who runs NYG Hoops, held an invite-only event in New York recently called The Bubble. The Bubble had 24 of the top players from the East Coast and the event featured media sessions, skills and drills and scrimmages. Here is how the top players from New Jersey performed.

Priyanka Ponnam is the top eighth grader in the state and with good reason. The 6-1 forward is comfortable with her back to the basket and has the build to score around the rim. What makes her different from most bigs is her ability to face up and take opponents off the dribble. Also, she has a great touch from the outside, with range out past the three-point line.

Trenton Catholic’s Aalyah Del Rosario Aalyah Del Rosario 6'5" | C Trenton Catholic | 2023 State #5 Nation NJ was the highest-rated player in the gym and performed like it. The 6-6 center threw eye-popping passes, handled the ball like a guard and was unstoppable around the rim.
