These five players were able to make the list and set themselves apart as some of the top prospects in the state.
Zanai Jones Zanai Jones 5'5" | PG Hudson Catholic | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Hudson Catholic
Jones proved to be a true star sheet filler during her junior year. She logged an abundance of assists and rebounds along with leading Hudson Catholic in scoring. Coming into the season, opposing teams will have to game plan against Jones if they want to take down Hudson Catholic.
Rachel Capua Rachel Capua 5'9" | SG Jackson Memorial | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Jackson Memorial
Capua will be the focal point of the offense this season with Kristina Donza Kristina Donza 5'9" | SG Jackson | 2020 State NJ moving on. Capua was still able to score over 500 points as a junior. She will outdo herself this season scoring the ball and knocking down shots from deep.
Brooke Hollawell Brooke Hollawell 5'6" | PG Manasquan | 2022 State NJ (2022) | Manasquan
Hollawell is one of the most underrated players in New Jersey. She is part of a core in the Class of 2022 for Manasquan. Hollawell can fill it up offensively and guard the opposing team’s best player. She is a true talent who will become a Division I guard.
Colleen McQuillen Colleen McQuillen 5'10" | SG Cresskill | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Cresskill
McQuillen led the state in scoring last season with 737 points. She was able to knock down 65 three’s and get to the free throw line for 120 easy points. McQuillen will get her recognition at the end of the season because of her incredible ability to score the ball at will.
Caileigh Walsh (2021) | Gill St. Bernard’s
There are certain forwards with great size that can play the game like a guard. Walsh is one of those players. She has a smooth looking shot from midrange and can dominate on the post. Gill St. Bernard’s can also put the ball in Walsh’s hands at big moments of the game and get a big play.
