Here is an early look into the class of 2025 and some talented 2026 players that made the 7th/8th Grade Gold All Tournament team.
Jailia Flowers (Phoenix Basketball Club, 2025) – Flowers is a physical wing player who can attack the rim with either hand. She plays through contact and Flowers is now showing the ability to handle the ball on the perimeter. Her game has developed by leaps and bounds over the past 9 months.
Sophia Doromal (Rising Champions, 2025) – Doromal is simply a game changer. She plays her best when the game is on the line and she made some difficult shots over the course of the event. Doromal has figured out how to use her small stature as an asset on the court. Looking forward to her continued development of this dynamic player.
Aaliha Spaight (Vegas Lights, 2025) – This player has big time written all over her. Spaight is an elite talent with incredible poise and efficiency. She is one of the top 7th graders on the West Coast and she is just scratching the surface on her abilities to dominate the game. Spaight was the MVP of the division.
Layla Frankin (Arizona Swish Elite, 2025) – Franklin is another physical wing player for the class. There was a great battle with her and Flowers going at it in the first bracket play game. With Frankin you can see continued development and she is not afraid to push the envelope even when things are not going her way. Franklin’s ball handling has improved and her face up game is a strong point at this point in her development.
Shanielle Mallory (Team Legacy, 2026) – Mallory is developing into a complete lead guard. She excels at establishing the pace of the game and she keeps everyone involved.. Mallory displayed some nice decision making and court awareness during the event.
We will release the 7th/8th Grade Silver Division All Tournament team tomorrow and we will also be listing other 2025 players that performed well during the She Can Ball tournament.
