Brooklyn Swann Brooklyn Swann 5'8" | SF Huss | 2025 State NC (Comenius, F, 2025) was aggressive going after the rebounds making sure she was the one that was going to come down with the ball. She used her height to create a lot of steals and even had a nice block where it seemed as if she came out of nowhere. Her post moves made it hard for her opponents to guard her which usually led to her getting some free throw shots for some extra points. She is fast with the ball using great footwork to move around in the post. She was determined to keep her team in the game towards the end of the competition seeming to take over herself scoring from inside.
Makailah Davis Makailah Davis 5'6" | CG South Meck | 2025 NC (Comenius, G, 2025) was all over the court on both ends showing that she is versatile in her position. She was constantly moving on offense making sure her teammates could get her the ball. On defense, she was in someone’s face whether she was about to grab a steal or follow a shot for a rebound. She runs the floor well scoring in transition, and she knows how to get her teammates involved pushing the ball up the court herself.
Deanna Jeffcoat Deanna Jeffcoat 5'7" | SG Camden | 2024 State SC (Camden, G, 2025) showed off her shot from beyond the arc making three pointers to help her team stay in the game. She is always ready to shoot, and on the other end of the court, she was tasked with guarding some of her opponents’ best players. She knew how to use her position to see the floor and help get her teammates involved.
Morgan Champion Morgan Champion 5'6" | CG Camden | 2025 State SC (Camden, G, 2025) had ice in her veins showing off her three point shooting tying the game back up in the second half. She was scoring from all areas of the court including short jumpers where she created space between her and her defender. On defense, she was constantly putting her hands on the ball when a guard was trying to get by her. She drove hard to the basket fighting through contact. She was constantly moving on offense making sure she was always an asset on the court.
Zhykera Brown Zhykera Brown 5'9" | CG Legacy Early College | 2025 State SC (Legacy Early College, G, 2025) came right off the bench finding ways to contribute with her three point shooting. She did the same thing hitting 4 three pointers to open up the second half of play. She runs the floor well, and she even had some old fashioned three point plays to contribute. She is a tough defender as well tasked with standing in the middle of the 1-3-1 defense where she could keep her eyes peeled all over the court. She showed no fear in guarding taller opponents making sure she positioned her body well and used her length to cause problems for her opponents. She follows shots well making sure her team always has a chance to grab the rebound.
Jaida McClure (Comenius, G, 2026) put on a shooting clinic raining three pointers from deep in her first game in the SkyHawk Holiday Showcase. She is certainly not just a shooter, though, as she knows how to push the ball up the court to her teammates in order for them to score in transition, and she even ran up the court herself looking for a pass if she happened to not be the one bringing the ball up. On defense, she contributes rebounds and steals as well making sure that her opponents do not have multiple opportunities to score. She can pick the pocket of any guard that tries to get by her and take that the other direction in no time.
Kionna Pettus (Comenius, F, 2026) was dominant on defense constantly using her length to cause problems for her opponents. Her steals and deflections made it hard for her opponents to get by their press and even get past half court. She turned these steals into fast break opportunities for herself. She was an effective rebounder making sure she was in position to grab some boards for her team. On offense, she knew when and where to cut to the basket in order to get a pass and score herself.
