Players listed at “Shooting guards” and “Combo Guards” in the PGH WA database will not be included in the list below.
Top 2021 Point Guards in Seattle-Tacoma
1) 5’5 PG Julianna Walker Julianna Walker 5'5" | PG Annie Wright | 2021 State WA (Annie Wright) – Signed to Syracuse
- The top point guard in the Seattle-Tacoma region and state for that matter. Walker is capable of knocking down multiple 30 footers in a single game and does not hesitate to shoot double digit threes in a single game. She absolutely dominates at the 1A level and has done so for three years. A shortened season is highly unfortunate as she goes for the state’s all time scoring record, but if they are able to play, she could get there.
2) 5’5 PG Esmeralda Morales Esmeralda Morales 5'5" | PG Bethel | 2021 State WA (Bethel HS) – Signed to Portland State
- A dynamic ball handler and smooth scorer off the bounce. Morales can also set her teammates up well in drive and kick situations, but she loves to shoot the midrange pullup coming off of pick and rolls the most. Can consistently knock down shots off the bounce and she has some craftiness getting to the basket. In her few tourneys with Tree of Hope this Summer, she led the team in scoring and looked most comfortable on the floor.
3) 5’5 PG Aaliyah Collins Aaliyah Collins 5'5" | PG Glacier Peak | 2021 State WA (Glacier Peak HS) – Unsigned
- Collins is also dynamic on the floor, but more so with her athleticism. Her mixture of quickness, open court speed and lateral foot speed on defense is legit. She scores the majority of her points in the paint and in transition by simply out running most players on the floor. She can drive and kick and setup her teammates well. An unsigned prospect in 2021 class.
4) 5’8 PG Joclyen Wyatt Joclyen Wyatt 5'8" | PG Wilson | 2021 State WA (Wilson HS) – Verbally Committed to Denver
- The Wilson High School star who recently committed to the University of Denver has been an impact player on the varsity scene since her freshman year. Wyatt is another good athlete at 5’8 and she can really get into the paint to make plays. A very good defender at the high school level as well. If she gets to play this season, I would expect her to put up big numbers for Wilson.
5) 5’6 PG Hayley Flores Hayley Flores 5'6" | PG Auburn Mountainview | 2021 State WA (Auburn Mountainview HS) – Signed to Arkansas-Monticello
- A shifty ball handler that is a pure point guard on the court. She knows how to run a team and gets players touches when and where they need them. She can also hit the three ball off the bounce and make some plays happen in the open court with her handle and vision.
