scored 13 points and did an excellent job of managing the game from the point guard spot. Meadows had just one turnover on the evening. The defense for Central DeWitt was the story as they only allowed six points in the second quarter. Even though the Central DeWitt defense was stout, Solon freshman Callie Levin still had 18 points as she continues her solid debut season. This was a good measuring stick for both teams and both impressed in their own ways. Central DeWitt looked like a team that can push for a spot at the Well and Solon looks like a team that can do damage even though they are likely a year away from contending.

scored 38 points against Van Meter in a three overtime game. She shot the ball 25 times and 13 of her 38 points came at the line where she went 13-of-18 in the game. Wilkins is going to be a player who is going to be very important for the success of Knoxville this year. If she can continue to score 25 or 30 points a game then Knoxville will be in a position to win a lot of games.
New look Dike-New Hartford takes down Denver
Denver is among one of the teams that are expected to compete for a state title this year and a game against Dike-New Hartford who lost their best three players a year ago should have been an easy game to win. Dike-New Hartford took it to Denver though as they won 56-31. Denver did themselves no favors by having 20 turnovers and Dike-New Hartford seemed to capitalize on them. This was a statement game for Dike-New Hartford.
