She stands at 6’5 with a wing span like an eagle. Light on her feet, which she can give credit to her volleyball abilities. Her teammate Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda 6'2" | SF Sioux Falls Washington | 2022 State SD is the #1 PGH Dakota ranked playing the class of 2022. She is a top 25 ESPN player with offers from Duke, UCLA, Texas, Iowa State, Louisville, Stanford, Maryland, Oregon, Clemson and Vanderbilt.
- The #2 Ranked player in the class of 2021 is Haleigh Timmer Haleigh Timmer 5'11" | SF St. Thomas More | 2021 State SD of St. Thomas More. The South Dakota State University commit, is the leader of the Cavaliers. A special talent with an array of ways to attack the lane and get to the rim. Timmer has a great fill for the game and a high basketball IQ.
- Shooting from the arc could be a difference in this game. Both teams have sharp shooters around the perimeter. SF Washington has a few but one in particular is Brielle Biteler Brielle Biteler 5'7" | CG Sioux Falls Washington | 2021 State SD . Recently committed to Dakota Wesleyan, Biteler stretches the defense so far out that it allows her interior teammate to eat up inside.
- Four players officially over 6’0. Either the lanes will be packed or the outside will look like the Great Wall of China. These aren’t your typical 6 footers. All of them are mobile and athletic.
- The class of 2023 is well represented in this game. 5 super sophomores highlight the future of both programs. STM’s Reese Ross Reese Ross 6'1" | SF St. Thomas More | 2023 State SD and Scarlet Grimshaw Scarlet Grimshaw 5'5" | CG St. Thomas More | 2023 State SD are major contributors. Grimshaw runs the point and controls the tempo for the Cavaliers. Ross is a long wing player that moves well on and off the ball. SF Washington has the Harpe sisters (Hannah & Brooklyn) and Alexus Motley Alexus Motley 5'7" | CG Sioux Falls Washington | 2023 State SD . Brooklyn is a natural scorer with a keen sense on offense. Hannah play multiple positions and runs the lanes well. Can play 2 through 4. Alexus Motley Alexus Motley 5'7" | CG Sioux Falls Washington | 2023 State SD is a blur in transition and in the open court, one of if not the best at it.
- STM has 6 Class A State Championship since 2012 (5 in a row 2014-2018). That some Chicago Bulls of the 90’s type of dominance.
- When its all said and done we could have 7 Division 1 players from this single game. We know 3 for sure in Schetnan, Mwenentanda and Timmer. However, the sophomore group has 4 capable and ascending prospects in Ross, Motley and the Harpe sisters.
