Coaches, players, and scouts are frustrated to say the least. We all miss the gym and all that goes with it. We miss seeing kids make lifetime memories playing the sport they love. Let’s take a look at 5 freshmen that I miss watching play due to all of the delays.
See 5 Juniors that I miss watching due to the delays as well:
Riley Abney Riley Abney 5'9" | SG Ortonville Brandon | 2024 State MI (2024, SG, Ortonville Brandon)
Abney has game changer written all over her. She’s a multi level scorer to say the least. Give her space, and she can bury you with her jumper. Play her tight, and she can put the ball on the floor and create.
Braxcynn Baker Braxcynn Baker 5'11" | CG Lowell | 2024 State MI (2024, CG, Lowell)
Baker has an electric game that’s fun to watch. She can create off the dribble and keeps the defense honest with her ability to break defenders down.
Jada Collins Jada Collins 6'1" | SF Kalamazoo Central | 2024 State MI (2024, SF, Kalamazoo Central)
Collins is building momentum quickly as a budding prospect. All of the intangibles are there, making her ceiling very high. Collins is smooth and athletic, and her growth as a player will be fun to watch.
Jaidyn Elam Jaidyn Elam 5'9" | CG Detroit Country Day | 2024 State MI (2024, SG, Detroit Country Day)
I can’t wait to see Elam in the open floor in a high school game. She looks for opportunities to get into the open floor and is a solid finisher on the break.
Ryan Moorer Ryan Moorer 5'9" | SG Madison Heights Bishop Foley | 2024 State MI (2024, SG, Madison Heights Bishop Foley)
Moorer has been flashing a big game since grassroots season. She’s a well rounded player that has a basketball IQ ahead of her years. Moorer is a prospect that college coaches will want to follow over the next 4 years.
