Ella Mescher Ella Mescher 6'0" | PF Minster | 2022 OH , 6-0 2022, Minster
Her game continues to grow and she has become a very solid prospect in Ohio in her class. Ella (pictured left) can catch and score around the rim and has good footwork allowing her to move well around the paint. She also has a good midrange game, and is athletic enough to create shots. Good on the boards, can run in transition and defend. In their win over Margaretta, Ella scored 19 points on 9/12 shooting with a three and eight rebounds.
Lila Kalman Lila Kalman 6'2" | C Toledo St. Ursula | 2021 OH , 6-2 2021, Toledo St. Ursula
Didn’t have the best shooting night in her game at the Classic, but Lila showed a lot of other promising things. She showed the ability to play solid defense in the paint and has good footwork and good hands around the rim. She was held to only three points, but nearly had double figures in rebounds and three big blocks. Can alter shots on the defensive end.
Jordan Weir Jordan Weir 6'5" | C Glen Oak | 2022 State OH , 6-5 2022, Canton GlenOak
At 6-5, Jordan is a force in the paint. She is a strong physical force and once she establishes position in the paint, she is difficult to defend. Can score overtop most defenders and has a nice tough around the rim. She handles her business has her stock is rising. She dropped 16 against St. Ursula on Sunday.
Taylor Thierry Taylor Thierry 5'11" | PG Shaker Heights Laurel | 2021 State OH , 5-11 2021, Laurel
Sure she is going to Ohio State and with good reason. She does so much to help her team, dropping a double-double in this game alone. Scored 12 with 10 boards and three blocks. She has excellent court vision and is able to create opportunities for herself or her teammates. Very good on the offensive boards.
Kendall Braaten, 5-9 2023, Laurel
At the forward spot, Kendall has incredible body control giving her the ability to create and score on a variety of moves. Has good perimeter skills, able to score from behind the arc and is active on the defensive end. Good midrange game. Scored 11 in her teams win on Sunday.
Shyanne Sellers Shyanne Sellers 6'0" | SG Aurora | 2021 State #41 Nation OH , 6-0 2021, Aurora
Have enjoyed watching her game for the past couple of years. Really there is nothing she can’t do on the floor. She has the ability to take the ball down low and score at the rim and is a mismatch nightmare. Good inside/outside threat with great handles. Headed to Maryland and currently ranked #2 in 2021 class by PGH Ohio.
